Chapter 333: History Repeats Itself

After Carter went out of the house unnoticed, that was the only time Carson could breathe properly. He didn’t even realize he was suppressing his breath because of fear.

‘Is that really the brother I used to be with ever since I was a child?’ Carson thought, his heart racing, as he leaned into a tree. ‘We are family. Why would he threaten me like that? Is the company and the organization more important to him than me?’

And upon asking himself that question, Carson got his answer. Carter wouldn’t mind killing everyone who would be a hindrance to his plans, and he is not an exemption.

His gaze went to the house—Something he had because of Carter. Everything he had was him, not giving Carson any chance to carve out his own identity. He was only known for his surname, and for all his careless actions when he was in teenager days.

The only thing he had that wasn’t connected with Carter was Dollie, whom he took for granted, and now his family; Ava, his wife, and Catela, their child.
