 “How long are we going to stay here?”  Brawen asked.  If Lydia were to find him and Madeline, both her revenge plan and Madeline's plan to get her things would likely fall apart.  He made a promise to Olga the cat, then he would.

 “Until your friend wakes up, we'll keep going!  Coming soon, in a few hours, take a break, or talk to me.”

 Cressida said as he rolled a cigarette in place of the broken pipe, lighting it with the snap of his fingers.

 “Where is your wife?  I heard that you brought your whole family down.”

 Brawen asked, hearing a growl outside, he guessed it was the Trokells, but if Cressida wasn't afraid of them, he shouldn't have either.

 “She is in another place, she and I have been living separately since my daughter was born!  It's just me and my daughter down here, I've got to get her down, that brat Susan used
