Spring is coming to Amaris, but not in an atmosphere of joy and hope.  Something is happening, and it has to be horrible, to deserve the fears of the great astrologers and prophets of Amaris.  Whatever you say, that awful thing must stop.  On the contrary, you should stop coming with the cold breeze and the sweet smell of spring flowers.

  The story begins with a young man named Brawen Carey Chandra, or Brawen in other words.  On the day he became a 20-year-old boy, no one could have predicted the disaster that befell Amaris, as well as the Chandra family.  That disaster took away everything Brawen had and deserved.
