Christopher is Right

Christopher carefully balanced the breakfast tray as he climbed up the staircase, a warm aroma of coffee and pastries wafting through the air. The worries of the office still lingered, but he was determined to provide Laura with a moment of peace.

As he approached the bedroom, Christopher overheard hushed voices coming from within. Curiosity piqued, he slowed his pace, not intending to eavesdrop but unable to ignore the concern in their tones.

Pushing the door ajar, Christopher found Laura and her brother James engaged in a serious conversation over video chat. James, usually jovial and easygoing, wore a furrowed brow, and Laura's expression mirrored the concern.

"What do you mean, accused?" Laura's voice held a mixture of disbelief and worry.

James sighed, running a hand through his hair. "Laura, it's a mess. Someone at the company is accusing me of stealing important documents. They're saying I had something to do with Emily's actions."
