Is There A Problem?

The days passed in a whirlwind of meetings, projects, and deadlines for Laura. She was fully immersed in her work at the office, and now that her capabilities and decision making were no longer under scrutiny, leading her project team with laser-like focus had become her only goal. As she juggled her responsibilities at the office, she had not had any time to herself, much less for a break and to observe her body.

One morning, when she came in to work, she noticed that her schedule had been cleared by her assistant, and confused, she called her assistant in, needing answers. Picking up the phone on her desk, she dialed the extension for her assistant. Immediately the call was picked up, she jumped straight into action. “Hello, Estelle? Could you come in here please? I need to ask you something. Satisfied, she waited for her assistant to come in, placing her own feet on the table.”
