INNATE GIFTS

Innate gifts are rare amongst mages and only a few who are geniuses and are favoured by genetic factors have them. They are grouped into four namely,

Innate Abilities

Innate Talents

Innate Physiques

Innate Blessings

INNATE ABILITIES

Innate abilities are abilities which a Mage has which allows them to use magic in a way other mages can't. Innate abilities are most often inherent at birth and needs the Mage to experiment and unearth them. An example of an innate ability includes Tetra casting whereby the Mage can cast three spells of same or different elements at the same time.

INNATE TALENT

Innate talents and innate abilities are similar but the key difference between them is that the Mage is able to tap into his innate talent without even trying or making much effort as it comes naturally and the Mage has a flair for it. An example of an innate talent is Spell Lethality whereby the lethality of the Mage's spell is far higher than normal.

INNATE PHYSIQUE

Innate physiques relate to the body of the mage. In general, mages have weak bodies which need to be trained or as the Mage keeps increasing in power, his body is made stronger. The only thing though, which makes a difference in terms of body strength is innate physiques. It is the only innate characteristic which can be obtained through birth, lineage, elemental affinity, training, and acquisition from beasts. An example of an innate physique is the Metal Bull physique which greatly enhances the strength of the mage, giving th a body comparable to that of a metal bull beast. The element which has a very high chance of unlocking or being compatible with any physique is the Blood and bone element.

INNATE BLESSING

Innate blessings can be said to be like a passive skill which the Mage has at birth or can be bestowed by a higher entity which gives them an edge in any aspect of magic. Innate blessings might boost a persons' talent, comprehension, awareness and even other innate abilities if the Mage has any. An example of an innate blessing is Increased cultivation speed.

Measurement of Talent

Basically, mages have an affinity for only one element. Some of them have none at all and that is why the Blood and bone element was created. The Blood and bone element is the only element which can be bestowed or given to people. It boosts physical capabilities to the maximum where the Mages' body is very strong and can even allow them to use their bodies as weapons. Anyway, here is how talent is measured.

Single Affinity+ No innate characteristic = Average

Single Affinity+ Innate characteristic = Good

Double Affinity+ No Innate characteristic = Very good

Double Affinity+ Innate characteristic = Talented

Triple Affinity+ No innate characteristic = Very talented

Triple Affinity+ Innate characteristic = Genius

Quadruple Affinity+ No innate characteristic = Talented Genius

Quadruple Affinity+ Innate characteristic = Prodigy

Five affinity and above= monster

Affinity for Elements

Affinity for elements determine how good the mage will be in the usage of the element. A higher affinity means a more powerful and versatile use of the element. It is classified into seven categories.

• Low Affinity [Basically trash]

• Average Affinity [A little higher than trash]

• Medium Affinity [Not bad]

• High Affinity [Good]

• Bronze Affinity [Very Good]

• Silver Affinity [Excellent]

• Gold Affinity [Masterpiece]
