8. Mary in panic

Mary in panic

Mary is at the sitting room walking around while carrying her phone on her hand as she tries hard to call her husband’s phone but unfortunately fails to reach him since his phone is not reachable. It has been so long since Pablo left home for work which makes Mary start questioning while wondering what might have happened to her husband.   

Mary looks anxious and distress as she is worried about her husband’s safety a lot since he hasn’t returned home yet and it’s running really late. “Where could Pablo be at this time?,  Why Isn’t he picking up his phone?.’, Mary asks herself questions in her inner thoughts with a dismay look on her face as she walks around the sitting room.

Mary sighs and speaks, “I hope nothing bad happens to him.”When Mary is tired of walking, she decides to go to the nearby coach and to sits down and rest.

Mary bends down her head and facepalm, looking so stressed out since it’s 3:00am in the morning and her husband is nowhere to be found after he left home in the evening. In few moments while Mary is at the sitting room waiting for Pablo’s arrival. Shortly Lillian comes out of her room in order to fetch some water to drink at the sitting room dispenser as she yawns while walking on her way towards the sitting’s room water dispenser.

When Lillian arrives at the sitting room, she is surprised finding her mother sitting down on her coach while bending down her head thinking since it’s unusual for her to be in the sitting room in this kind of hours. “What is she doing at the sitting room at this time of an hour?.”, Lillian asks herself a question with confusion on her face as she looks at her mother sitting on the coach by herself. “What happened to her?. Why is mom looking so stressed out today?.”, After Lillian asks herself questions without getting the right answers, she then decides to go to her mother in order to talk to her  to find out what is going on with her.

When Lillian arrives at her mother’s coach, she then pats Mary’s shoulder and sits down on the coach, “What is going mom?. Why are you all alone at the sitting room by yourself at this time of an hour of the night?.”, Lillian asks.

Mary removes her hands from the her face and sighs, “I’m waiting for your father to arrive back home.”, Mary speaks.

Lillian furrows her eyebrows with confusion and asks, “Wait, does it mean daddy has not arrived home yet?.”

Mary nods and replies, “Yes your father has not returned home yet.”’

Lillian looks at her mother with dismay as she is worried too of what might happen to her father since he has not returned home yet on which it is a little bit unusual of him to do that. “But wait a minute. Have you tried calling him through his phone?.”, Lillian asks.

Mary nods and replies, “Yes I called him multiple times but I cannot reach his phone up to now.”

“What about James?. Have you tried calling him instead because as far as I remember they were all together in the evening before going to their business.”’, Lillian asks with curiosity on her face.

Mary sighs and replies, “Yes I tried calling him too darling but unfortunately I cannot reach his phone too.”

The anxiety and worry perks within Lillian’s heart as she starts to get worried about her father’s safety since it’s unusual for him to return back home really late or sleep somewhere else and also his father is a big business man in Mexico city so anything can happen to him due to the rivalry and enemies that his father has from his businesses.

“I hope nothing bad happens to him or else I will not bare the pain of losing him.”, Lillian speaks with panic.

Mary frowns and looks at her daughter, “Don’t say that Lili. Nothing will happen to your father okay. Let just wait and pray for him to return back home safely.”, Mary speaks.

“Okay.” ,Lillian nods and replies.

It’s a brand new day at the restaurant as every employee inside the restaurant is busy doing their work while some are serving the customers around the restaurant tables as they take orders from the customers. Eden is inside the kitchen, frying the kitchen on his frying pan for the customers who ordered fried chicken meat a long time ago. In brief moment as Eden is inside the kitchen doing his chores, suddenly his boss opens the kitchen door and enters inside.

"Eden. Have you finished preparing the orders that i gave you?.", Ricardo asks Eden while looking at him.

Eden shakes his head with disagreement and replies, "No sir!. There will be ready in just a sec."

"Okay. Hurry up because the customers have already come to ask for their orders."

"Okay don't worry boss. There will be ready soon.", Eden replies.

When the conversation between Eden and Ricardo is over, Ricardo decides to return back to the restaurant counter, leaving Eden at the kitchen cooking. At the time Eden is cooking at the kitchen while making some preparation of his customer’s orders, Shorty Andrew yanks the door open and enters inside the kitchen to take some meals which are ready to be sent to the customers.

Andrew speaks immediately as soon as he approaches Eden, "Eden. Are the customers orders ready?.", Eden asks.

Eden nods and replies, "Yes some of them are ready but for the one that I'm cooking right now they will be ready in just few seconds."

Andrew grins and speaks, "Man, i never thought you were this good at cooking."

Eden raises an eyebrow with confusion and asks, "Why are you saying that?."

"Because the customers inside the restaurant they are praising your foods so much for their good taste."

Eden grins and replies, "Oh thanks!. By the way I learned cooking from my mother. She was the one who taught me how to cook this kind of foods."

"Your mother must be proud of you."

"Yeah.", Eden replies

"Okay, when you are done cooking those meals. Don't forget to call me I will be waiting for you outside."

Eden nods and replies, "Okay, Don't worry about that.”

Andrew opens the kitchen’s door and leaves after finishing talking to Eden, Leaving Eden preparing the foods for his customers as he is quick in making preparation for the customer’s plates.
