"I can get you $800,000 in your bank account by today." John Dawson said while taking the one million dollar bills and putting them on his desk.
"Sure. The faster we get the money, the better." Major Ivan said before his phone rang.
But this time, before he could answer, George slapped the phone out of his hand.
Major Ivan then stared at George in shock, "Corporal what do you think you are doing?" He asked, "Do you know who is calling me?" He continued.
"Sir, I can't explain to you now but I am serious when I say that we must not answer that phone call," George said while stressing that the Major cannot answer the phone.
Major Ivan nodded, "We'll talk outside." He said before bending down and picking up his phone before turning to John, "Once you're done, give me a call."
John smile and shook the Major's hand, "Sure thing. You guys seem busy. So I'll see you later."
___
George started explaining what had happened and the more the Major's face turned sour, "The Colonel knows. He knows about Lu Bu, and he knows about the UN. A lot of them are aware of the corruption that exists within the UN." George explained.
"I'll be damned..." Major Ivan said while gritting his teeth, he then took out his phone and started dialing a number, "General, I need your help." He then continued to explain his situation before thanking the general and ending the call.
"So... What are we gonna do now?" George asked Major Ivan.
The Major then patted George's shoulder, "Now, we fly." He replied.
Confused about what was happening, George decided to ask once more, "Fly? To where?"
"The great state of Texas. But the General is not really fond of Russians. In fact, bringing a muscled-up Russian like Drago to his base will give him PTSD. So he will stay here." Major Ivan said as he looked at Drago who was talking in a phone booth from afar.
"Understood, sir. I will tell Drago that we are leaving." George said before he turned to where Drago was and got stopped by the Major.
"We don't have time for that we have to reach the airport now." Major Ivan said before he ran to the car and entered it.
George followed and entered the car as well, "Why are we running? What's the rush?" He asked.
Major Ivan turned to George before hitting the engine and started driving the car, "Your ability, it restarts your life to the point when you last woke up, right?" The Major asked.
"Right," George replied as he nodded slowly.
The Major then looked at his left wrist where his watch was, "It's 9 now, and if we get to the General's base by 12. We will have about 8 hours to use it fully before you go to sleep. But if we are even a minute late. We will be wasting time, and you will probably have to repeat this day to use spend the day as efficiently as possible." He said.
Upon hearing this, George nodded awkwardly.
___
Exactly an hour and four minutes later, they arrived at the Northeast Florida Regional Airport.
"We are here..." The Major said as he continued driving past the airport.
George looked around confused, "Uhm, sir? Aren't we supposed to go park our car and enter the airport?" He asked.
"What are you talking about? We not flying in a plane." The Major replied as he drove to where the planes were flying and drove through the gate that was blocking him from entering the field where the planes were taking off from.
"Ahhh!!!" George shouted as he held onto his seatbelt.
"Woohoo!!!" The Major screamed and laughed as he pointed to the jet that was present on the airfield. "That's our ride!" He shouted before hitting the brake right in front of the jet.
"I'm alive..." George said as he breathe heavily and started thanking God that he was still breathing.
"Ah, grow some balls! You have multiple lives anyways!" The Major said as he exited the car.
"Major! How have you been doing?" A man said as he came out of the jet.
"I'm fine. Doing better than ever." He said before turning to George. "George, this is Captain Costello, one of the best pilots in the country, and a good friend." He continued.
Captain Costello walked closer to George and extended his hands to shake hands, "Corporal George, nice to meet you. I have heard about your terrific feats in New York." He exclaimed.
"Thank you, sir," George replied with a smile.
"Anyways, we've gotta go now. The General seems impatient in meeting the both of you. Mind telling me what's going on?" He asked while the three of them entered the jet.
"You will know about it eventually." Major Ivan said as he turned to George who was looking around the interior of the jet. "Is it your first time in this thing?" He asked.
George nodded, "Yeah. It's the Ginjet-540 right?" He chimed.
"Yeah, it is. One of the only high-speed jets that can break the sound barrier while still carrying 4 passengers in the deck." Captain Costello said while taking off. "And it is also extremely comfortable to fly in!" He continued.
"Amazing..." George continued as he looked at the scenery that was changing every millisecond.
___
The Ginjet slowly landed on the landing ground of the military base in Texas, and as Major Ivan, George, and Captain Costello jumped out of the jet, they were welcomed by a group of soldiers with the General waiting in front of them, "Well, what do we have here?" The General asked as he looked at the Major.
"General, you're looking strong as ever." Major Ivan said as he walked up to the old and wrinkled-up old man.
"Stop joking. I can barely lift 405 pounds these days." The General laughed before turning to Corporal George, "And what's this twig doing here?"
"Oh, he is Corporal George, I'm sure you have heard of him." Major Ivan said."Of course I have." The General said as he looked at George from the sole of his shoes to the top of his head, "Oh my Lord... This kid is talentless..." He said before shaking his head and sitting down.George smiled awkwardly, feeling disrespected and the General could see it. "And I don't mean it in a bad way. The fact you have killed a powerful monster and become a corporal is amazing. It must mean you have worked hard and gone through a lot. I know a kid who was just like you and I trained him myself, he was talentless, but I pushed him to his limits and eventually he became my best soldier, and on the face of this planet he was an unstoppable machine." He continued as he looked into George's eyes. "In fact, you look a bit like him."He added."Thank you, sir," George replied while bowing his head slightly."Anyways," He said before turning to the Major, "Clear me up on some things will you?" He asked.Th
"Damn it..." George said as he looked at the blue full moon. He felt nervous about the mission he had to do tomorrow."You're staying up?" Major Ivan asked as he walked towards George in his white t-shirt."Uhm, I can't sleep," George replied. "And I don't think I will be able to fulfill the mission successfully tomorrow." He said as he looked at his hands, "These hands only know how to work, and kill monsters, ever since the mass-scale invasion, I had to join the army, and I had no time to study. I don't know how to write properly and I am probably a retard when compared to everyone else. Please tell the General, that let me kill the monsters, don't make me do what I don't know." He continued as he looked at the Major's eyes in fear. The Major's face turned visibly confused as his right eyebrow raised, "You don't know how to write properly?" He asked."Yeah, I mean, I can talk, I can read a bit. But I have troubling spelling words." George explained."No, that's not what I want to kn
"I'm not just gonna sneak into the Roth's Tower and get information, am I?" George asked as he realized he had been duped.Agent Jefferson smiled, "That's basically what you are gonna do. But, you will have to do a couple of things to get to that part." He replied as he started collecting information on the computer.George sighed and closed his before staring at Agent Jefferson, "Just give me the mission..." He said while sitting on the floor.Agent Jefferson stopped using the computer and turned to George, "That's the spirit! Now would you help me to just open that drawer?" He muttered while pointing at the drawer on top.George stood and rolled his eyes, "Sure." He responded before opening the drawer and as he did, a body fell out of the drawer and fell to the ground. "Oh shit!!! Why the hell is there a body in there?!" He shouted before he saw the face of the man who drop out of the drawer, "And isn't that Dick McConnell? The Senator?" He asked as he looked at him in shock."Yeah,
"That's fine. Just kill him with the string in the bag." Agent Jefferson replied.George laughed it off, thinking that Jefferson was just playing a bad prank on him, "Yeah whatever, now where is the weapon?" He asked."The string is in the briefcase. Just open it." Agent Jefferson replied."The string?" George asked wondering why Jefferson was talking about the string, and as he opened his briefcase, he could see the scanner, a machine built into the briefcase, and a black string."That string is strong. Just kill that guy with the string." Agent Jefferson said seriously as George took the string out of the briefcase."I wasn't expecting you to be serious... I can't kill a guy with a string. I need something like a knife, or better yet, a gun!" George whispered angrily at Agent Jefferson."You'll be fine. You're a soldier anyways, you should be able to fight against a normal guard easily." Agent Jefferson replied treating George's worry as a mere overreaction.George sighed before wal
"So let me explain to you everything, you will be-" George paced back and forth as he spoke, his frustration palpable. "Be pretending to be Senator Dick, I will be going inside to take an identity of a guard before going to Roth Tower to get some information."Agent Jefferson nodded, but George could sense his apprehension. He walked over to the metal cabinet and swung it open, revealing a man bound and gagged inside. "This is Senator Dick and you will be scanning his face to get me a mask which will make me look like him. Look, I don't need any information, and I damn well know that I do not need the string that is in that suitcase, I need a gun."Agent Jefferson hesitated for a moment, eyeing the suitcase in his hand. "Look, the string is pretty strong," he offered.George rolled his eyes. "I need a gun," he said firmly. With a resigned sigh, Agent Jefferson rummaged through the box and retrieved a black Glock. "It's a gun with a silencer," he said, handing it over. "It will be lou
George had kept to himself inside the truck while the other guards realized he was quiet. But they just guessed it was because they had pointed their gun at him and almost killed him. As they stopped at the gate, he saw the tall tower that was the beacon of technology in the United States; that building alone cost 68 billion dollars. As they passed through the gate, the driver stopped and looked behind, "Mason, this is your stop; they have changed your place to guard the outside." He said before opening the back door. George nodded as he walked out, now slightly panicking from what was happening. He was supposed to go inside to get information, not walk around the gate of Roth tower. As he walked around the gate, he shook his head as he saw the countless amount of cameras that were there. 'I might be able to get away with walking inside the gate and maybe into the tower, but any more than that will get me caught.' And if he did get caught, he would have to solve the problem: the ma
George ran down as fast as he could; his mind couldn't process what had just happened in front of him; as he reached the stairs, he exited the door and saw the clone's body lying on the floor. He then looked away and continued running towards the gate before the guards who were trapped in the building saw him come out of the emergency door. "He's there! Catch him!" One of them shouted as they all ran after him, causing George to look back. But he didn't see any of the guards chasing after him. Instead, he saw the clone standing up as if taking a nap and started running after him at high speed, "Shit! Jefferson, the cyborg son of a ████ is chasing after me!!!" He screamed as he could hear the steps coming closer. "Hold on! Jump to the side!!!" Jefferson shouted. George, who was extremely good at following orders jumped to the side even though he didn't know what it was for. Suddenly the van that Agent Jefferson was in passed by him before hitting the clone away. "Get in!" Jeffe
"No, you didn't... Tell me you didn't..." George replied, shocked that the Major would do such a thing."George... I know that this might seem bad... But I will get the money back. The money is trackable after all, and I have taken a picture of the money as assurance." He said while pulling out his phone and showing it to George. The serial number... Good thinking..." George replied. "Once we find that son of a gun, I will beat the living shit out of him." He laughed."Yeah, you know, it's not so bad... This situation... only a few days ago, we were chased down to be killed..." George nodded, realizing that he wouldn't have been able to get this far without the sudden gift he had obtained."I've been thinking... about your ability." "What about it, sir?" "I've been wondering, could someone already know about your ability?"Upon hearing this, George raised his eyebrows before shaking his head, "That's impossible, sir... I have told no one about it, no one, except for you." Ivan Sha
