George had kept to himself inside the truck while the other guards realized he was quiet. But they just guessed it was because they had pointed their gun at him and almost killed him.

As they stopped at the gate, he saw the tall tower that was the beacon of technology in the United States; that building alone cost 68 billion dollars. As they passed through the gate, the driver stopped and looked behind, "Mason, this is your stop; they have changed your place to guard the outside." He said before opening the back door.

George nodded as he walked out, now slightly panicking from what was happening. He was supposed to go inside to get information, not walk around the gate of Roth tower.

As he walked around the gate, he shook his head as he saw the countless amount of cameras that were there. 'I might be able to get away with walking inside the gate and maybe into the tower, but any more than that will get me caught.'

And if he did get caught, he would have to solve the problem: the many skilled security guards that were veterans.

"George, you okay there?" Agent Jefferson asked through George's earpiece.

"No, do I look fine? Look, this is impossible. There is no way I will be able to do this. There are cameras here that are too much for me to handle, and I don't even know what to expect when going inside." George responded clearly, sounding stressed about the situation.

"Dont worry; I have it all under control. I will disable some of the cameras. You still have your suitcase,,,,, right?" Jefferson asked.

As George heard this, his eyes widened as he realized that he had left the suitcase in the convention inside the staff's toilet, where he also hid the body of the security guard he was currently disguising. "Uhm, Jefferson. I might have left it in the convention."

"You did what?! How can you be so careless?? Do you know you will get me into soo much trouble?"

"Look, at that time, I couldn't have just brought the suitcase with me; it would be too suspicious." George replied.

"Thats not your only mistake! You left the body in the staff room!" Agent Jefferson said as he looked through the CCTV at the convention, "So far it doesn't seem like there is any staff going to the restroom. Get into the tower now!" He shouted.

"I have dealt with the front gate cameras."

"I'm on it!" George said while he entered the gates before running to the tower entrance and seeing a few security guards there talking to each other. "Jefferson, are there any other entrances?"

"Two, there is the back entrance and the emergency stairs on the left side of the building."

Hearing this, George quickly ran to the left side of the building before seeing the emergency door and running inside it. "Im inside the building; what now?" He asked.

"Get to the highest level." Agent Jefferson said before he saw one of the staff walking into the restroom, "Oh no..." He said.

The staff quickly ran out and pointed at the staff room, "Damn it!" Agent Jefferson said before pressing one of the buttons, causing the suitcase to explode, causing everyone in the convention to run from the sound of the explosion.

"What happened?" George asked, hearing Agent Jefferson cursing.

"They found the body; l just exploded the suitcase, so at least they would not know it was from the government. You only have ten minutes, maybe less! Get to the top floor now!!" He shouted before checking the cameras and before cutting the phone connection from the tower to the convention centre to avoid the message from arriving.

George then started running up the stairs as fast as his legs allowed and kept looking at the level that he was in.

"Oh shit, they got the message. They know that you are just an impostor." Agent Jefferson said before hacking into the building system and locking all the rooms to prevent the guard from entering the door.

#

Meanwhile, at the convention, "What's going on?" As he looked at the commotion near the restroom, Brad Roth said, "One of your guards has been killed and exploded as well."

"Did you call the guards in the tower?"

"We tried, but it seems they have troubles there; someone is hacking the whole tower, and they cannot come out, and guess what? The guard that died here was seen walking with the other guards in the tower."

"Which means that guy took his identity." Brad Roth said while looking at the dead guard whose head had been shot.

"Sir, would you like to contact the police?"

Brad shook his head, "No. No police. I will deal with this myself." He said before taking out his phone and placing it on his ear. "Hey, someone is coming your way, don't let him get away, okay?"

#

As George arrived at the top level of the building, he could see the computers there.

He then heard a step around him, like a dog running around him. But this thing or creature was running amid the table; George tried finding it before a figure appeared before him.

His eyes widened as he saw the face before him, "Brad?" He asked as he saw the face of Brad Roth in front of him.

"Wrong." The man said before punching George in the stomach.

George quickly lunged back and held onto his stomach, which he thought had been damaged from the punch, "Brad Roth is here!" George shouted.

"Impossible! Brad Roth is still in the convention; I am looking at him now through the camera."

George then stared at the Brad Roth lookalike before taking out his gun and shooting him in the head, but as the bullet hit his head, it bounced off, "Hahaha, shocked? You are not the only one shocked."

"Who the heck are you?"

"Since you are gonna die, I will just tell you. We are the creators who are greater than the creator; we are Brad Roth." He replied before a door behind George opened, before another clone of Brad Roth appeared. "I supposed you are trying to find fault with the neural link, right? Our numbers will grow if at least a million people wear them."

The clone then took out a neuralink chip and showed it to George, "And we will start with you." It said.

George's eyes widened before he ran towards the clone before him, smashing him through the glass and throwing him out of the tower. "Jefferson, did you get all of that?!" He shouted before running through the emergency door and running down the stairs.

"I got all of that! Your mission is done. Just get out of there!"

George ran down as fast as he could; his mind couldn't process what had just happened in front of him; as he reached the stairs, he exited the door and saw the clone's body lying on the floor. He then looked away and continued running towards the gate before the guards who were trapped in the building saw him come out of the emergency door. "He's there! Catch him!" One of them shouted as they all ran after him, causing George to look back. But he didn't see any of the guards chasing after him. Instead, he saw the clone standing up as if taking a nap and started running after him at high speed, "Shit! Jefferson, the cyborg son of a ████ is chasing after me!!!" He screamed as he could hear the steps coming closer. "Hold on! Jump to the side!!!" Jefferson shouted. George, who was extremely good at following orders jumped to the side even though he didn't know what it was for. Suddenly the van that Agent Jefferson was in passed by him before hitting the clone away. "Get in!" Jeffe

"No, you didn't... Tell me you didn't..." George replied, shocked that the Major would do such a thing."George... I know that this might seem bad... But I will get the money back. The money is trackable after all, and I have taken a picture of the money as assurance." He said while pulling out his phone and showing it to George. The serial number... Good thinking..." George replied. "Once we find that son of a gun, I will beat the living shit out of him." He laughed."Yeah, you know, it's not so bad... This situation... only a few days ago, we were chased down to be killed..." George nodded, realizing that he wouldn't have been able to get this far without the sudden gift he had obtained."I've been thinking... about your ability." "What about it, sir?" "I've been wondering, could someone already know about your ability?"Upon hearing this, George raised his eyebrows before shaking his head, "That's impossible, sir... I have told no one about it, no one, except for you." Ivan Sha

'Quickly!' George took out the gun from his pocket. Snatch! The gun was quickly taken away from another Russian hiding behind all along before he felt a kick at the back of his knees causing him to fall down. He tried rolling to get up before he felt a boot on his face putting heavy pressure on it. AH! He felt as if his head was about to explode, but this might work as well. But the boot was lifted up, leaving his skull slightly cracked but nothing so serious that would end his life. Drago walked away from George before turning to look at one of his new team members, "Put them both in the room. Do not in any circumstance let them out, and do not kill them, especially the young one." He talked in Russian before walking out of the factory. # Thud! Both George and Ivan were thrown into a room with no window and the only exit was a locked metal door. "Shit," George cursed before Ivan got closer to the door and placed his ears on it to make sure that no one was near enough to lis

"So… that is a dungeon, huh?" George asked as he exited the truck while Major Ivan strolled away, walking to one of the officers that had arrived there. "So what is the rating? Seems that even the General has no idea." "The Hunter's association has rated this dungeon, Unknown, sir." "Damn it." Major Ivan replied as he looked up at the portal of the dungeon, which was starting to turn slightly red. "And how long until a dungeon breakout could occur?" "We have about 2 days!" One of the hunters shouted as he walked toward both of the soldiers. "And who are you?" "I'm a class B hunter from the association, Hans-Jurgen. Let's just say that I am somebody that knows about 'hunting' in dungeons." The German hunter said with his chin up high, clearly looking down on the regular soldiers. "Hans… The guy who stopped the C-level dungeon breakout on his own?" Major Ivan asked. Hans nodded, "Yes. And I have also gotten an order from the association to only involve hunters… And, I don't thin

George stood in front of the portal with his bulletproof armour and gun in his hand and the sound. That emanated from the portal got louder, and he could hear the whisper of the monsters as if it was near his ears. “First time going in a dungeon?” Ivan asked, looking at George, who was in awe at the large portal. “Yeah, I have only fought in New York… So I don't really know what to expect here.” Hearing the conversation, Hans quickly brought the matter to Kenta, “Are you sure this is a good idea? The guy that supposedly defeated a Class A monster has never stepped foot in a Class D dungeon.” “If he lives, then we know he is the real deal, and if not, then that’s one less problem we have to deal with.” Hans nodded, hearing Kenta’s quick thinking before staring at George, still suspicious of him and his record. After making sure everything was ready, Kenta didn't waste any more time and quickly walked towards the portal before turning, “It’s time. Let’s go in.” “Gosh, this guy i

"First time going in a dungeon?" Hup! George swiftly rolled to the side as he saw the hunter nearly running through him like a juggernaut. 'That guy is as fast as a normal person!' George realized that hunters were just a completely different breed. Their body weight didn't affect their speed as much as weight affected a regular human being. The hunter in front of him was supposed to be struggling even to jog, but to move this fast alongside the agility was something that George couldn't naturally do. He then tried carrying the hunter's leg to topple him down but in vain. The hunter weighed at least 200 kilos, and his legs stayed firm on the floor; George's strength proved useless in front of a monster. And with a swing of a hand, the tall hunter dropped George's to the floor, his back crashing down harder than a falling boulder. "Kugh!" The air that was in his body left him at the moment, and as he breathed in, his vision returned, allowing him to see the boot of the hunter that was about to crush his face. A

The Ginjets flew over the vast sea while the soldiers were looking at their sea scanning radar to find any signs of strange movement that might hint at the movement of the submarine. "Any signs?" General Howard asked while pacing back and forth, his mind racing with possibilities of what Jordan might be planning. "Sir, we have contacted the National Reconnaissance Office. They will be checking for any visible signs of the enemy when they go on land, but for now, we don't have any." "Think! There must be some way to find them; if they are using a nuclear-powered submarine, then there must be a way that we can somehow find them through scanning nuclear energy nearby." "Sir, the whole base was filled with nuclear waste… We won't be able to find them… the nuclear waste has been spreaded out.” Howard punched the window, nearly breaking it, and could feel his heart beating with his stomach aching in anxiety; as he looked at his watch, he could see that it was 14:00. “Sir, we are ready. We are waiting for your orders.” General Howard looked down upon the sea base, “They must be scared… None of them are outside….” “Perhaps they thought that we would be attacking them directly?” One of the strategists responded while looking at the base using her binoculars before seeing a figure in one of the doors. “I see someone peeking at us… It seems that they really think that we will be going for a direct attack.” “Well, that’s for the best then. Destroy them.” He ordered just loud enough for all of them to hear. As the soldiers prepared to drop the heavy explosives on the sea base, the strategist could see the figure that was peeking at them from the sea base, entering and hiding back at the sea base. That figure to be exact, was Major Ivan. “Ivan, so what’s the condition outside?” “Not good. They are going to blow this place up. We should leave right now. We might have only 2 minutes max.” General Jordan sighed in relief as the both of them continued

"Where are they!?" The former Colonel, now turned Four Star General Howard screamed at the soldiers. "Satellites indicate they are in the Sea Base, Sir!" "Sea Base?" The Colonel paused before his phone rang. "General Howard?" Another General, who had more badges on his chest, walked towards him as he tried talking. "Wait." Howard pulled out his phone before answering it. His whole stature and persona that fit a strong and harsh leader had changed to a more respectful one, "Yes, sir?" He answered in a very polite tone, a vast difference from the one that he used not long ago. Everyone there stood quiet; they knew who General Howard was talking to. In fact, the news broke out that some unknown entity within the UN had promoted Howard for some unknown reason. And the other 37 Generals who had a position similar to the one he recently had all been demoted to Lower 4 Star General to increase the status and the authority that Howard received. The pilot pulled back on his controls, ascending the plane to its maximum altitude. "Come on!" the pilot shouted, straining to align the plane directly above the sky. The metal covering the aircraft shook intensely, compressed by the high-speed flight. Seated in the co-pilot's chair, the Major was covered in the blood of the deceased co-pilot, his seatbelt securely fastened. The g-force pulled everyone's skin back, giving them the appearance of aging by four decades. Some even fainted due to the force. The pilot glanced at the fuel gauge, anticipating the low fuel level. With the slow leakage and the maneuvers performed, it was no surprise that their fuel was running low so early. Turning to his left, the pilot checked on the condition of the Major. The Major held onto his seatbelt tightly, struggling to communicate with the pilot through distorted mouth movements, saying, "Wha... ah ... we... asen?" The commissioner's hand trembled as he heard General Jordan's voice instead of General Damien's. "Sir... Where's General Damien?" Beep... General Jordan abruptly ended the call, leaving the commissioner dumbfounded. He slumped into his chair, scanning the room in search of answers. It was inconceivable that General Jordan's army could have defeated the soldiers under the command of the highly esteemed 5th Star General. They weren't even prepared for a fight. "What the hell happened...?" He glanced at the phone directory once more, searching for another number. He dialled the guard's phone, which he had borrowed. "Colonel Howard... I think General Damien might be dead." The Colonel froze, disbelief etched on his face as he looked at the commissioner, shrouded in darkness. He whispered into the phone, "Is that really you, Commissioner?" "Yeah, it's me. My damn phone broke, so I'm using this one for now. But listen, there's a good chance General Damien is dead." "Sir, should we stop the Major and Corporal from leaving?" one of the guards asked, observing the Commissioner's panicked state. "Forget about them. Do you have a phone?" Astentstein inquired. The guard nodded, searching his pockets until he produced a small smartphone. He unlocked it and handed it to the Commissioner. Astentstein snatched the phone and swiftly navigated to the call application. Pulling out a small booklet from his back pocket, he located a number he had written down and dialed it. "When will we have a day where we can simply survive without complications?" "I need you to convince the General to change his plan. Some things can't be fixed even with my ability," George implored. Chapter 48: Fight With Damien Part 3

George stood firmly in front of Damien, his body tense with anticipation. It was the second time he had experienced this day, and he knew exactly what moves Damien would execute. Yet, even armed with this knowledge, George couldn't shake the feeling of inferiority that washed over him. He still felt small, weak, and utterly unaware of the circumstances surrounding him. But George couldn't afford to dwell on these thoughts. Failure was not an option, for if he faltered now, he would be forced to relive the entire day using his time loop abilities. Fatigue weighed on George's mind, though it didn't manifest in his physical form. It was evident in his eyes, which carried the weariness of experiencing the same events twice over. With determination fueling his every move, George launched a punch towards Damien. Yet, just as he predicted, Damien effortlessly sidestepped the attack, evading it as he had done before. Undeterred by his missed punch, George unleashed a rapid series of strike
