"So… that is a dungeon, huh?" George asked as he exited the truck while Major Ivan strolled away, walking to one of the officers that had arrived there.
"So what is the rating? Seems that even the General has no idea."
"The Hunter's association has rated this dungeon, Unknown, sir."
"Damn it." Major Ivan replied as he looked up at the portal of the dungeon, which was starting to turn slightly red. "And how long until a dungeon breakout could occur?"
"We have about 2 days!" One of the hunters shouted as he walked toward both of the soldiers.
"And who are you?"
"I'm a class B hunter from the association, Hans-Jurgen. Let's just say that I am somebody that knows about 'hunting' in dungeons." The German hunter said with his chin up high, clearly looking down on the regular soldiers.
"Hans… The guy who stopped the C-level dungeon breakout on his own?" Major Ivan asked.
Hans nodded, "Yes. And I have also gotten an order from the association to only involve hunters… And, I don't think that any of you are… So would you mind sitting in the corner while the professionals do their work?"
Major Ivan walked closer to the German hunter while shaking his head, "I don't think you know where you are. You're not in Germany, boy. You're in the United States of America, and I hope you respect this country's authorities."
Hans gritted his teeth as he heard the other hunters walk closer.
"There they go again…"
"Why can't they just let us do our I thing?"
The United States government was regarded as the country that had the strongest military in the world, but in terms of hunters, they lacked them the most, thus having to resort to foreign hunters for assistance when an event such as this happened.
And this has also caused most of the hunters to look down on the country that has gone down to such a pitiful state.
"Of course. But I won't guarantee your safety," Hans replied before the murmurs among the other hunters started getting louder.
Hans then turned, wondering why the crowd got louder so suddenly, before seeing a figure floating in the sky right beside the dungeon portal, "Kenta Yoshida?"
"It's Kenta Yoshida! The ranker!"
[Kenta Yoshida, aka World's Number 1 Mage]
[Ranked 11 in the Class A Hunter rankings]
[Managed to force a gate to close without entering it]
The mage slowly descended from the sky and landed, touching the ground gently while looking at one person consistently.
He then started walking towards George, who was right behind Major Ivan and extended his arm, "I'm Kenta. I hear what you do to Class A monster. Very happy you here."
"Hi Kenta, happy to meet you too… Say, how did you know that I am the one?"
"Magic."
"Oh yeah, I forgot that you actually do that."
Meanwhile, the rest of the hunters that were present were dumbfounded as they saw Kenta, who among the hunters was known as a hunter who never talked at all.
"Did Kenta say that the soldier killed a Class A monster? I thought he would look much… stronger."
"I thought that was just a rumor! Didn't the UN say that it was most likely fake?"
"Well, Kenta recognizes the guy; it's obviously real, dude."
Both Major Ivan and Hans were also shocked as they saw George talking casually to a hunter that would be able to kill George with a flick of a finger.
But George didn't know anything about Kenta; in fact, he didn't know much about hunters since he hates hunters to the point that he just skips anything that is related to them.
Crack!
The sound that erupted from the dungeon portal was so loud that everyone surrounding it could help but turn to look at it.
"The dungeon is cracking!!"
"But I thought we had about 2 days to clear it!"
"CLEARLY not! That thing is cracking faster than my relationships!"
The hunters quickly got into their battle stance while preparing for a full-scale monster attack. Something that only veteran hunters and soldiers had experience doing.
Kenta turned and quickly levitated into the air while extending both of his arms toward the dungeon portal, which caused the sky to darken and rain. A lightning bolt suddenly struck the dungeon, a power that Kenta commanded, forcing the cracks to heal itself.
"He did it!"
"Kenta did it again!"
George took a step back as he saw the power that was shown in front of him by the Japanese ranker. "What the…"
"You gotta get used to this kid. These guys are like demigods here."
"Yeah, it's just that he reminds me of a Japanese Zeus."
Kenta quickly flew back to the ground right in front of Major Ivan, "Are you the authority here?"
"If you are asking whether I am the person in charge of this portal, then yes."
"We must go in now. The portal is cracking by itself. Most likely a high-level dungeon."
"How much time do we have?" Major Ivan asked, noticing the severity of the situation.
"5 hours… at most."
Ivan gulped before turning to George, "Yeah, you might have to do a few rounds… If you get what Im talking about."
George nodded; 5 hours wasn't a long time; in fact, in terms of clearing a dungeon, even a day wasn't enough, "I understand."
Ivan then took out his satellite phone, "General, we will have to evacuate everyone in Tampa."
It didn't take long for the General to understand what was going on before he ended the phone call, and suddenly, the whole city was erupting in the sound of the emergency siren.
"A dungeon breakout is happening; please evacuate the city."
"A dungeon breakout is happening; please evacuate the city."
The Major then extended his hand to the Kenta, "Can I trust you to lead the hunters?"
"Of course. Leave it to me." Kenta replied before turning to the hunters that had been ready for battle.
"Let us enter."
Both the Major and George waited for more, but that was all Kenta said.
"Wait, that's it? No motivational chants?"
"Yeah, why?"
The Major sighed, turning to George, "After you die, make sure to tell me not to give that position to Kenta."

George stood in front of the portal with his bulletproof armour and gun in his hand and the sound. That emanated from the portal got louder, and he could hear the whisper of the monsters as if it was near his ears. “First time going in a dungeon?” Ivan asked, looking at George, who was in awe at the large portal. “Yeah, I have only fought in New York… So I don't really know what to expect here.” Hearing the conversation, Hans quickly brought the matter to Kenta, “Are you sure this is a good idea? The guy that supposedly defeated a Class A monster has never stepped foot in a Class D dungeon.” “If he lives, then we know he is the real deal, and if not, then that’s one less problem we have to deal with.” Hans nodded, hearing Kenta’s quick thinking before staring at George, still suspicious of him and his record. After making sure everything was ready, Kenta didn't waste any more time and quickly walked towards the portal before turning, “It’s time. Let’s go in.” “Gosh, this guy i

"First time going in a dungeon?" Major Ivan asked, noticing that George was perspiring heavily in front of the entrance, and taking this into consideration."Second time here.""Wait, so what happened at the first time?"Upon hearing this, George smiled while shaking his head, "Well, we did pretty… okayish….""Sigh, so we all died then.""Yeah pretty much.""So what happened?"George explained everything that happened in full detail, "And dont worry, I think I have a plan."#The demonkin arrived at the same time as his previous life."What is a demonkin like you doing here?" The First System User Chapter 30: Hans
Hup! George swiftly rolled to the side as he saw the hunter nearly running through him like a juggernaut. 'That guy is as fast as a normal person!' George realized that hunters were just a completely different breed. Their body weight didn't affect their speed as much as weight affected a regular human being. The hunter in front of him was supposed to be struggling even to jog, but to move this fast alongside the agility was something that George couldn't naturally do. He then tried carrying the hunter's leg to topple him down but in vain. The hunter weighed at least 200 kilos, and his legs stayed firm on the floor; George's strength proved useless in front of a monster. And with a swing of a hand, the tall hunter dropped George's to the floor, his back crashing down harder than a falling boulder. "Kugh!" The air that was in his body left him at the moment, and as he breathed in, his vision returned, allowing him to see the boot of the hunter that was about to crush his face. A

"This must work…" George muttered as he stood in front of Hans for the 45th time before taking out his fingers and poking into his eyes, blinding Hans temporarily.Hans jumped back while blocking, using his two big hands to cover his vitals from the front, but George knew he was about to do that and placed his legs just behind Hans, who was jumping backwards, causing the German to fall on his back.George then took out his uniform and quickly tied it around Hans's neck, trying to choke the hunter out, this was the farthest he had gone, and if he failed, it would mean that he would not be able to beat Hans no matter what.Rrrip!Hans tore the uniform; the veins in his forearm showed an impressive feat of strength."No…" George muttered as he stood up, looking at the torn uniform of his, before looking up and seeing Hans standing up.He then took out his gun and shot himself before anyone could even stop him.#"I can't beat him…" George said he had just beaten the tall hunter, but he k

The demons came in rough, with their numbers increasing by the second. And once again, the giants of the demon race returned with their power, overwhelming the hunters as they had never felt before. Retreat!" George shouted, knowing that if the hunters tried fighting against the giants, they would surely perish, and instead, he turned to the Japanese hunter, "Kenta, we need to get rid of those things." Kenta nodded before he extended his arms toward the giants and caused them to levitate higher into the air. "Krugh?" And although the giants struggled to free themselves from the magical hold, Kenta dropped to the ground before the giants' grasp was broken, which caused the giants to collapse to the ground; their knees popped as a result of the strain that was exerted to them. "NOW!" George shouted as he pointed at the giants, gesturing to the hunters to attack the giants when they were still weak on their necks. But as soon as they did that, the demons ran away as fast as they cou
The First System User Chapter 33: Magnus Stormcaller
George sat down in front of the portal. He could feel his head aching so much from repeating the day without resting for too long. He felt like he could throw up anytime, and Major Ivan saw this, walking up to him and sitting beside him, “What’s wrong?”“I tried a lot of things…” George muttered before explaining what happened in the previous rounds of him repeating today. In fact, George had already tried to convince the hunters not to go into the portal, but none of them listened, including Hans and Kenta. The only time when they believed him was when they entered the portal, which was too late by then.“Damn.” Major Ivan shook his head; he didn't really know what to say as he didn't have any better idea himself; after all, the only one with that ability was George. “There must be something. Kenta couldn’t tell why the man in front of him was so confident since no matter how much he tried to check in George’s body, he couldn't find a hint of mana. “I asked if you want to test my abilities?” George asked, seeing that Kenta wasn’t responding. “Sure,” Kenta replied, confident that Magnus Stormcaller was nothing but a fraud set up by the US government to trick the hunters. “What is in my hands?”Kenta asked while putting his hands behind his back and using mana to mask the content within his hands. “Oh, you mean the chain? Silver with your name etched on it?” Kenta’s eyes opened wide as he heard this, he had made sure to mask the content of his hands, but it was all useless since George had repeated this incident far too many times to make a mistake or guess wrongly. “Come on, that’s too weak of a test. Give me your best!” George chuckled before one of the hunters raised their hands. “Can I try testing you?” George shook his head, “Absolutely not; you were about to ask

As per the order of who they believe to be Magnus Stormcaller, the hunters ran as fast as they could to the easier-to-kill weak demons while the bigger and stronger weak demons were being handled by Hans and Kenta pretty quickly."What about the demonkin?" Hans asked, wondering what they were gonna do with the biggest threat there."I don't know." Chapter 56: D.C Manoeuvre
The Ginjets flew over the vast sea while the soldiers were looking at their sea scanning radar to find any signs of strange movement that might hint at the movement of the submarine. "Any signs?" General Howard asked while pacing back and forth, his mind racing with possibilities of what Jordan might be planning. "Sir, we have contacted the National Reconnaissance Office. They will be checking for any visible signs of the enemy when they go on land, but for now, we don't have any." "Think! There must be some way to find them; if they are using a nuclear-powered submarine, then there must be a way that we can somehow find them through scanning nuclear energy nearby." "Sir, the whole base was filled with nuclear waste… We won't be able to find them… the nuclear waste has been spreaded out.” Howard punched the window, nearly breaking it, and could feel his heart beating with his stomach aching in anxiety; as he looked at his watch, he could see that it was 14:00. “Sir, we are ready. We are waiting for your orders.” General Howard looked down upon the sea base, “They must be scared… None of them are outside….” “Perhaps they thought that we would be attacking them directly?” One of the strategists responded while looking at the base using her binoculars before seeing a figure in one of the doors. “I see someone peeking at us… It seems that they really think that we will be going for a direct attack.” “Well, that’s for the best then. Destroy them.” He ordered just loud enough for all of them to hear. As the soldiers prepared to drop the heavy explosives on the sea base, the strategist could see the figure that was peeking at them from the sea base, entering and hiding back at the sea base. That figure to be exact, was Major Ivan. “Ivan, so what’s the condition outside?” “Not good. They are going to blow this place up. We should leave right now. We might have only 2 minutes max.” General Jordan sighed in relief as the both of them continued

Chapter 54: Sea Base
"Where are they!?" The former Colonel, now turned Four Star General Howard screamed at the soldiers. "Satellites indicate they are in the Sea Base, Sir!" "Sea Base?" The Colonel paused before his phone rang. "General Howard?" Another General, who had more badges on his chest, walked towards him as he tried talking. "Wait." Howard pulled out his phone before answering it. His whole stature and persona that fit a strong and harsh leader had changed to a more respectful one, "Yes, sir?" He answered in a very polite tone, a vast difference from the one that he used not long ago. Everyone there stood quiet; they knew who General Howard was talking to. In fact, the news broke out that some unknown entity within the UN had promoted Howard for some unknown reason. And the other 37 Generals who had a position similar to the one he recently had all been demoted to Lower 4 Star General to increase the status and the authority that Howard received. But this information had been made priva

Chapter 53: Flying Part 2
The pilot pulled back on his controls, ascending the plane to its maximum altitude. "Come on!" the pilot shouted, straining to align the plane directly above the sky. The metal covering the aircraft shook intensely, compressed by the high-speed flight. Seated in the co-pilot's chair, the Major was covered in the blood of the deceased co-pilot, his seatbelt securely fastened. The g-force pulled everyone's skin back, giving them the appearance of aging by four decades. Some even fainted due to the force. The pilot glanced at the fuel gauge, anticipating the low fuel level. With the slow leakage and the maneuvers performed, it was no surprise that their fuel was running low so early. Turning to his left, the pilot checked on the condition of the Major. The Major held onto his seatbelt tightly, struggling to communicate with the pilot through distorted mouth movements, saying, "Wha... ah ... we... asen?" "What?" the pilot asked, attempting to decipher the Major's message. But befor

The pilots then manoeuvred their aircraft, bringing them to a halt, As the dust settled and the engines powered down, the pilot looked towards his co-pilot before seeing a glim of light right behind his head. Before the window behind his co-pilot shattered, a bullet shot through his head, causing his whole body to turn lifeless and drop to the ground. The pilot quickly ducked before taking his microphone," Take cover. We are being attacked!!!" "Not here too?!" The General shouted as he peeked out of the window and could see soldiers hiding and blending into the environment; if it weren't for the light that was reflecting from their scope, he would have never known that they were there. Chapter 51: Impossible
The commissioner's hand trembled as he heard General Jordan's voice instead of General Damien's. "Sir... Where's General Damien?" Beep... General Jordan abruptly ended the call, leaving the commissioner dumbfounded. He slumped into his chair, scanning the room in search of answers. It was inconceivable that General Jordan's army could have defeated the soldiers under the command of the highly esteemed 5th Star General. They weren't even prepared for a fight. "What the hell happened...?" He glanced at the phone directory once more, searching for another number. He dialled the guard's phone, which he had borrowed. "Colonel Howard... I think General Damien might be dead." The Colonel froze, disbelief etched on his face as he looked at the commissioner, shrouded in darkness. He whispered into the phone, "Is that really you, Commissioner?" "Yeah, it's me. My damn phone broke, so I'm using this one for now. But listen, there's a good chance General Damien is dead." "Sir, should we stop the Major and Corporal from leaving?" one of the guards asked, observing the Commissioner's panicked state. "Forget about them. Do you have a phone?" Astentstein inquired. The guard nodded, searching his pockets until he produced a small smartphone. He unlocked it and handed it to the Commissioner. Major Ivan nodded in agreement. "Funny you should mention that. I was actually on my way to his office. Care to join me?" Chapter 48: Fight With Damien Part 3
George stood firmly in front of Damien, his body tense with anticipation. It was the second time he had experienced this day, and he knew exactly what moves Damien would execute. Yet, even armed with this knowledge, George couldn't shake the feeling of inferiority that washed over him. He still felt small, weak, and utterly unaware of the circumstances surrounding him. But George couldn't afford to dwell on these thoughts. Failure was not an option, for if he faltered now, he would be forced to relive the entire day using his time loop abilities. Fatigue weighed on George's mind, though it didn't manifest in his physical form. It was evident in his eyes, which carried the weariness of experiencing the same events twice over. With determination fueling his every move, George launched a punch towards Damien. Yet, just as he predicted, Damien effortlessly sidestepped the attack, evading it as he had done before. Undeterred by his missed punch, George unleashed a rapid series of strike
