Nick opened his mouth to say something, but he slowly closed it, making a sad face. Aniya caressed his right cheek and continued, “My father told me they have a strict code about only killing Werewolves, never when they are humans, but there are some extremists in the Hunters that don’t follow the code. He also told me that some Werewolves don’t care about locking themselves up like you do, and many even like to wake up covered in blood near their most recent victims. Those Werewolves can’t be allowed to exist, because they only give a reason for Hunters to continue their killings. If your parents and many others could live a peaceful life, even with the mutation, why not give a chance to every Werewolf out there?”

In a continuous movement, Aniya pushed Lisa against the bush and took a wolf’s bane flower from the purse she was carrying. She showed it to Lisa, who immediately stopped smiling as her face contorted in pure pain. While she used one hand to cover her mouth and to muffle the scream, her other hand was scratching her naked belly, taking huge chunks of skin and flesh. With each scratch she made, it became more difficult for her to control the screams. She removed her hand from over her mouth, and while she was screaming, her eyes became flooded with red, as a few veins exploded in her eyeballs. Lisa jumped at Aniya with her fingernails pointed at her like claws. Aniya reacted immediately. She grabbed both wrists of her friend from the bottom side as she let her body fall backwards and put one foot

Frank waited while Aniya was copying the folder, and as she delivered it to him when it was finished, he asked, “Are you sure you want to infiltrate the Hunter’s group to find out more? We always thought they disappeared long ago because we heard nothing about them or other Werewolves besides Lisa and her great-great-grandmother, but if they are still active and if they are an organised and secret group like you said, things can become very dangerous for you.” “My father always said that we must know everything about our enemies. He was talking about his business rivals, but he was still right. I want to know everything about the Hunters. Their methods, meeting locations, who they are, and how many of them there are. I want to go on field missions to learn as much as I can. Who kno

Nick kept on staring at Aniya and he then slowly nodded. He took a bite from the food on his fork after blowing it and asked, "You managed to help her? Like you did with me?” "Yes. She even said I have a strange ability, because I was glowing as I was ordering her to pick the floor and to smell it, and that my voice was enticing and it calmed her. She said it could be because I never changed.” Nick made a slight smile as he was munching, "I felt the same when you told me to smell the flower. My mother also had that ability. She and my father were the leaders of our small community. There were only ten Werewolves in that community, some couples, and some that were

As he was bending forward his body with pain, Aniya grabbed his tail and twisted it in different places. The sound of the tiny tail bones breaking echoed in the steel walls, and she then kicked his head, hard, sending him flying against the nearest wall. Aniya was already on him when the dark werewolf fell on the floor, and she grabbed his feet.

The night was fading, and the first rays of sun were clearing the sky. Aniya looked at her right paw and thought while closing and opening it, staring at the dangerously pointy claws, "|… This body sure is weird. I feel stronger, faster, I can smell, hear and see things better. But these arms are so long! Not to mention my legs! I am taller now, and curvier than I ever was. If it wasn’t for all this white fur, and this long and big head, I would be so hot! ...|”"|…

Nick smirked, "Says the pot to the kettle! It wasn't me checking you out while you were dressing, remember? As for adventures, I had one or two, nothing more. I had to run for my life, not much time to stop and go steady with a girl, you know?” Aniya faced the mirror again and took a small box of makeup from the top drawer of her vanity table and answered as she was putting on eyeliner, "I had more than you, then. I never had much luck with men ever since I was a teenager because they were all after my family’s money, and not me. So, I stopped searching for a relationship and indulged myself every time I felt like it.” Nick approached and hugged her from behind,

Anna slowly nodded and spoke after cleaning her tears and calming down, looking at her hands over her lap the entire time, "They went to my parents' house yesterday, asking all sorts of questions about me. They were two men and one woman, and they introduced themselves as Hunters. They didn’t explain anything more, and they didn’t need to, because my parents know very well that crazy group of despicable assassins. Years ago, a group came to my father’s house and took his mother with them.
