Aerial Attack

Because of the flames, the Wolves just could not stay on the ground. The flames were so hot that they melted anything they came in contact with. Especially the flames that Dawn was using were extra hot and were much more powerful than Kevin's.

The Wolves that considered this to be a danger tried to fly away. However, the arrows made them fall to the ground.

' She must be over-exhausted by now,' Dawn thought.

' Kevin, Quickly finish blocking them and then take down those trying to fly away.' Dawn commanded.

Kevin was spreading fire as fast as he can in the forest and it was burning at a great speed. The forest was inhabited by some animals before but after the wolves came every one of these animals had moved out of the forest to some other part of it.

Misha had put down her bow not being able to do anything anymore she sat down on the ground. Cole was by her side and he was taking care of her once she was exhausted and at the same time, he was watching what was happening in the forest.

The others were also the same, they just couldn't take their eyes off the scene in front of them. The blue flames had created a wall and the wolfbat who can not fly was having a hard time standing and staying conscious because of the heat.

The Big wolfbat had just reached the blood but as soon as he reached there. Felix tore apart a magic parchment which caused the other magic parchment to cause a huge explosion. The blood disappeared into small particles.

The Wolfbat growled in anger and finally, he decided to take notice of the fire. He didn't think of anything but Dawn's blood before, because the other wolves were also very greedy. So if the leader had wasted time dealing with the flames, some other wolf might have become stronger in the meantime.

Its roars resounded through the entire forest and reached as far as the forest extends. Except for Lock, Kevin, and Dawn, everyone else was frozen because of the fear.

' Is it trying to scare us, tell him I am not scared?' Kevin spoke to Dawn.

' We will just roast him dead, he will know himself.'

The Huge Wolfbat flew in the air and Kevin followed him. It was going to be a battle in the sky. Kevin was like a cloud of purple flames while the leader wolf was too huge. Its claws were covered with the energy of death and they looked like they were made of purple diamond, same could be said about his teeth and eyes everything was shining in a purple glow.

It flew very fast dodging Kevin's fireball-type attacks very easily by flying up and down. Kevin had thought wrong about this battle being easy because the next second it was time for the wolf to attack.

Its wing was covered in a purple glow and it swung it with a tremendous force. Kevin's flames almost vanished because of that and he crashed to the ground.

' We underestimated this wolf, it has too much energy.' Dawn thought.

Meanwhile, some more spectators had come to watch the battle. They had watched how the wolf had roared and how it fought the other monster.

They had never seen a beast this large and to have such a frightening amount of power in just one attack. Even the knights were wary of it but they were not scared.

' We can defeat the wolf somehow but if both of these beasts fought against us then we will suffer too many casualties.' Andrews thought.

He decided to watch to know more about the enemy and to fight the winner instead of getting involved in an ongoing battle. Dawn also decided to watch to allow Kevin to gain more experience fighting as an undead wisp.
