The setting sun transformed the waters of the sea into a vast ocean of molten gold, the sky painted with swathes of purple, pink and copper. Leeno took in a deep breath, the sharp tang of saltwater filling his nostrils. A warm breeze was blowing, ruffling his hair slightly and he closed his eyes for just a moment, savoring the feeling of it, trying to forget everything else but this moment. Even so, his mind kept dragging itself back to the Celestial being in his dreams. Blue eyes, hair that looks like a lion’s mane and then he was wearing a red and white tunic with a hint of blue. Leeno glanced at the woman beside him. His sister, Leona had taken off her sandals and she walked barefoot on the white sandy beach, pausing every few steps to wriggle her toes in the sand as if she was trying to get more sand in between her toes. Her face seemed to mirror what he felt inside, a keen determination to just not think about other things, to cease worrying about what had happened and what wo
After hearing what Pip had said, Dalton wished he didn’t ask. Betrayed, shocked and baffled was an understatement at that point but he had to wrap her mind around this. Because one, Pip isn’t a liar. Two, he also did notice the changes in Lucas. “What do you mean? As in… Is Lucas not really him? But a creation of the Dark Druid? A creature called Golind? A giant morphed with darkness?”Pip nodded grimly. “Yes, the creature consumed them and maybe he has the power to mimic the beings that he consumed. I noticed how odd Lucas was. Like he wasn’t himself. And that night at the school, while he was guarding everyone — especially the gate when the dark creatures attacked. All of my hypotheses were proven to be true.” “Then what are you still standing here for! A creature created by the dark druid is parading here and we don’t even know it?! Let’s go tell the Supremes now!” Dalton slammed his hand against the marbled tiles. Pip grimaced. “You know that this place — the Sorcerers has a cl
And suddenly, there was a sudden recoil and Fraco found himself being pulled into an infinite vortex. Like he was standing still, yet his soul was up in a different dimension. And all he could see was stars. “What is happening? What is this?”‘Relax your soul.’Fraco and his soul were dragged into a different world. And what he saw when he opened his eyes was otherworldly.A scenario so familiar that he had seen before. Where the sun and moon and stars can be seen together. Where there is darkness and light. He was in the twilight zone once more. And he saw two beings standing face to face. One is familiar to him for he had seen and dreamt of this majestic being so many times. A man of white gold, brown, and red appeared from the rumble. The man was wearing a long robe which dragged against the clouds. It has patterns of fire embroidery on its smooth silk. The man's hair was long and coarse and it dragged along his back. From afar he looked like a graceful lion wearing a mane.Rowan
Golind closed his eyes, willing his own heart to slow down just to release more of his power to give life to his master. “I am willing to give all that I am, just to see you rise to glory again… my Creator.” Little by little, the barriers begin to break. Cracks on the first barrier appeared, soft light peeking in through gaps in the barrier, letting light inside and on the second layer. “Come on!” Golind screamed, his face contorting, his cheeks sunking and his eyes were losing light. Losing life. He kept releasing Golden dust until it penetrated the 2nd barrier and ultimately destroyed the first one. As he kept destroying the barriers, the golden dust began to destroy the cave as well. The dust following Golind’s will of destroying the entire place. The ground began to shake, the earth trembling. Were it not for the strong foundation of the cave, the roof would have given in and fallen minutes ago.“I am the son of Jutrude. The commander giant, the dark Druid’s creation. The p
Fraco and Leona were snapped out of their trance, their souls coming down from the other dimension along with the souls of the Celestials. The sun was streaming in through the window and both of them glanced around, wondering why the Earth was trembling.Leona was shaking her head, and as she looked at him, her eyes widened in horror. “Fraco, do you feel that?” Another tremor, she grabbed onto Fraco’s shoulder and gasped. “Fraco… can you feel it? The Earth is shaking.” She paused when a disgusting feeling assaulted her senses. What is going on this time? There was a loud pounding on the door and it flew open. There were at least twenty men and women standing outside the door, staring at them. Daimon and Gwendolyn were standing in front a grim look on their faces. Both looked angry, disgusted. Terrified.Fraco and Leona stood up, moving between the door and the bed. A man pushed himself to the front of the crowd, slightly middle-aged and tall. It was the Supremacist, Theodore. Fraco
Rowan stood from the stars. For just a moment, this moment, he was content. He was about to avenge the love of his life, it brought him back to the time before all this, before his life had gone from messed up to uncontrolled chaos. There were smiles around the room and everyone seemed to be in a good mood or, at least, a better mood than they had been the day before. He remembered when all the Celestials were still alive. How he and his mated pair would enjoy their day, and some days they would guide the humans. But then… his trance was disrupted when he heard a faint sound. A sound that came from the land of the Sorcerers. It sounded like a prayer. Like a cry for help.‘Rowan!’‘Rowan, help us! Help us please!’‘Rowan, he’s alive! The Dark Druid is alive! He escaped, help!’ From the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of the Chaos on the Land of the Sorcerers. “How could this be?” Rowan asked, himself. He looked around and saw how hundreds of Sorcerers are dying in a snap of
As the dark druid stands up, Daimon concentrates his power into a single location. He puts all his concentration into making the water sharp, strong, sturdy — like how the other Sorcerers turned water sturdy. Like mud, like blood. “Pierce.” Daimon murmured. And soon he was able to conjure a water thick, flexible and much like blood. Red and black. And soon, he turned it into a sword. "Now you die..." He said as he stared at the dark druid. He pushed his hand and the blade pierced Dah from the Frey, hitting the chest. The sword digs in deeper, drawing even more blood. “GAH!” The dark druid shrieks as the blade pushes against his chest, the tip of the blade bursting from his back. “YES!” Gwendolyn cheered. But then, the dark druid did something unexpected. Doing something that turned their battle around. He absorbed the sword.Daimon released the power, so that the dark druid wouldn't be able to absorb the entire sword.Gwendolyn gritted her teeth and looked at Dah from the Frey on
The traumatic sight made the Giant quiver in horror as he let out a shriek. With a malevolent sneer spread across his features, Ezizh said: “Your impudence and blasphemous ways have spawned those creations that I conceived called invertebrates. From the soil they were created and possess no skeleton. They are to devour you until you are but the size of only one of them, the maggot. Hence, you will feel shame by being reduced to a negligible form for all eternity by insignificant boneless critters.”It took five tedious days for Granit to be degraded to the size of a maggot by a terrifyingly elongated ribbon worm followed by snails, leeches, arachnids, flies, scorpions, beetles and many more invertebrates that filled the deceptive cave. Following the Giant’s torture, Hermes visited the earth and eradicated all indication of Granit existence in The Land of the Giants such as the temples that were built to worship the Giant of pride and vanity and the written forms of his doctrine.
