MR. WOOD, YOUR CARD
Catherine drops anchor on Lucian's feet. She holds onto one of his legs and begins bawling her eyes out. She can't find any words to express how she feels. She can only sob.

Lucian frowns. He has never liked seeing the female gender cry. No matter their age, seeing them cry pricks his heart.

He lets out a long sigh. He is deeply moved by her tears. Should he just let it go? He speculates, biting on his fingernails.

The thought, however, does not last long as he instantly deletes it the moment the images of everything the employees did to him flash before his eyes.

He kicks Catherine's hands off his leg and takes two steps backward to create enough space between them. "You caused all this, Catherine. Do you think tears can solve it all? You better get your ass up and take responsibility for your sins!
