Michael has a deep scowl on his face as he glances at Tessy's expectant countenance, waiting for him to give her the go-ahead command, but he doesn't say anything, instead, he hisses and looks away from her.

Even if everyone in this room doubted Lucian, he would never do so. He may not have spent much time with Lucian as they are only meeting today after so many years, but from Lucian's personality, he believes he knows what he can and cannot do!

And this is one of those things he cannot do! Lucian is not only his son but the sacred formidable Python Lord and as such, Tessy is but a small fry in his eyes, so there's no way he'd stoop so low as to lie against her!

If he said it, then it is nothing but the truth! Besides, he may be getting older and his vision isn't as acute as it once was, but he is certain he saw Tessy smirk at Lucian just now. That can only go on to prove that she has been lying all along and is doing so on purpose! Perhaps her motive is to tarnish Lucian's image! H
