Anthony King woke up to terrible news, the stocks they had ordered with Jordan Reigns’ money had gotten lost at sea.

He was pacing in his living room at the crack of dawn, tossing back a glass whiskey every so often.

“Anthony what are you doing,” it was Camille at the doorway. “You’re making so much noise I thought there was a burglar in the house.”

“It would've been so much better if we only had a burglar to deal with.”

“You better be talking about Luthan,” Camille defended.

“You know damned well I'm talking about Arthur,” Anthony hissed. “Where is he?”

“In bed,” she said in a deadpan tone. “Where he should be.”

“Passed out drunk I'm sure. That's why he hasn't even stirred.”

“Even if I were dead, father, the noise you've been making would wake me. There are children in this house for Pete's sake and they need their sleep.”
