Xi Shen still had his hand on the floor, which he sent his perception through to control his master rune. All of the Spiritual Qi the black formation on the mountain was supplying to all the outer disciple's courtyards suddenly began rushing towards his room.

The room began to shake as the Spiritual Qi poured out from the red rune, towards the rotating sphere of Spiritual Qi in front of Yang Su’s dantian.

The furious aura that came from a fifth mountain some distance away from the four outer disciple mountains, was due to the Head Elder of the Outer Sect, who was at the Soul Transformation Realm.

That Head Elder was currently hovering in the sky above the mountain. His raging aura towered to the heavens causing the clouds to become dark while flashing phenomenons appeared lightening up the mid-day sky.

As soon as his figure appeared above the mountain, he shot across the sky in a colorful streak towards the outer sect second mountain, where Xi Shen was. It would only take him a couple of seconds to cross the two-kilometer distance that separates the two mountains and reach the air space above Xi Shen’s courtyard.

In the two months Xi Shen was in seclusion he had planned all of this and had already taken into account the Outer Sect’s Head Elder’s interference. With a thought, Xi Shen’s Divine will, something he hadn’t used until now, flowed out of his Sea of Consciousness to surround the room.

With a growl, he gathered all of the Spiritual Qi pouring out of the red rune into the rotating sphere in front of Yang Su’s dantian, causing it to enlarge to about two feet.

Yang Su was trembling nervously at the moment, he could faintly sense the disturbance his elder brother was causing on the mountain, and he had also heard the enraged shout of the Outer Sect Head Elder.

Yang Su didn’t know exactly what Xi Shen was trying to do but he had a faint idea when he had sensed the profound aura around Xi Shen.

Ever since he started meditating, he realized that his senses and perception had multiplied to a terrifying degree. He recognized the profound aura he felt around his elder brother, to be a type of foundation. He didn’t know how exactly he was sure, but he just had a feeling that was the case.

Yang Su knew all of this, that’s why being nervous to death, he was still gritting his teeth and remained sitting where he was. He had complete faith in Xi Shen and he knew that his elder brother was risking a lot to give him this good fortune and change his destiny.

As Xi Shen quickly gathered the Spiritual I into the rotating sphere, he began compressing it. As the sphere shrunk, six colors suddenly appeared with it.

These six colors were black, red, white, yellow, blue, and green.

These were the six natural elements of heaven and earth, Metal, Fire, Wind, Earth, Water, and Wood respectively.

As the elements were brought out and then fused together, the Spiritual Qi in the sphere became the ‘Six Elemental Qi’, a name Xi Shen had come up with.

There were Qi's of the six elements in the surrounding environment that cultivators use to cultivate but what Xi Shen did was unheard of in this era. He had combined all six types of Qi into one and was planning to infuse it into Yang Su’s Dantian, thus giving him the ‘Six Elemental Qi Foundation’, which was another name Xi Shen had invented.

With this foundation, Yang Su would be able to command the six elements even when he was in the Qi Condensation Realm. While others could only do so after reaching a significantly high cultivation level. His comprehension of the six elemental laws would also be faster as his affinity with them would be as high as someone who had received the heavens blessing to cultivate like the days of old, like Xi Shen.

However, unlike Xi Shen that has an affinity for all the laws between heaven and earth, Yang Su only had an affinity for the six natural elements. He would find it really difficult to comprehend any other laws not relating to the six elements.

But even so, if Yang Su cultivated diligently he could become an existence that has complete control over, not just the six natural elements, but the element that branches off of them.

As the sphere shrank to the size of a golf ball, Xi Shen’s hurried voice echoed in the room. “Quick Yang Su, swallow it.”

Even though the process of Xi Shen releasing his Divine will to him condensing the sphere took time to explain, it actually happened in a matter of moments.

The Head Elder was still moments away from arriving here.

When Yang Su heard Xi Shen’s words, he didn’t hesitate to grab the sphere and forcibly gulp it down.

One could see the bulge in Yang Su's throat as the sphere went down his throat swiftly. Without wasting any time Xi Shen sent his Divine will into Yang Su and guide the dissolving sphere’s energy towards his Dantian.

As soon the multicolored energy from the sphere began to fuse with Yang Su’s dantian, the sky above the second outer sect mountain began to turn pitch black before large bolts of lightning started flashing violently in the clouds.

Before long, it seemed as if a mighty consciousness had awakened within the now swirling dark clouds in the sky.

The Head Elder who was rushing towards the mountain suddenly stop half-mile away. The flashing colors around him faded to reveal an old man in blue robes. This was the Head Elder of the Outer Sect, Ming Donghuan. He currently sported a frightened expression as he looked at the churning dark clouds.

When the consciousness awaken within them, he suddenly coughed up blood and was knocked away from the mountain.

After stabilizing himself about a mile away, he cried out in alarm, “What is a heavenly tribulation doing here in the outer sect?!!! Have some almighty expert that’s breaking through to the Heavenly Palace Realm appear here?!!”

The Heavenly Palace Realm was the realm that comes after one breakthrough from the Soul Transformation Realm. He himself was in the early Soul Transformation Realm, but he had read about heavenly tribulations. Those only happened when supreme experts of that level are going through a cultivation breakthrough.

After one expands their Qi Sea and enters the Sea Expansion Realm, they would have to start building their foundation. This foundation was different from the original foundation someone was born with.

After someone builds their first Divine Platform of their foundation, they can be considered an early Foundation Realm cultivator. Within the Foundation Realm one would need to construct nine Divine Platforms, each Divine Platforms constructed increases that person’s strength tenfold.

Constructing the four Divine Platforms will move one from the earth Foundation Realm to the mid-Foundation Realm and constructing the seventh would move you to the late Foundation Realm.

After that, they would need to successfully pass the Core Condensing tribulation where they would have to destroy their Divine Platforms and condense all of the Spiritual Qi stored in said platforms into a golden core, thus entering the Core Formation Realm. During the Core Formation Realm, a person would focus on strengthening their soul to its limit, after which they would fuse their soul with their golden core. This process was known as the Nascent Soul tribulation. Passing this tribulation one would be able to enter the Nascent Soul Realm.

In this realm, one would start comprehending the laws between heaven and earth. Each law they manage to fully comprehend would be embedded into their Nascent Soul, causing it to then transform into a Divine Soul.

Depending on the size and strength of a person’s Nascent Soul they would have to choose a strong law, or laws, to have their Nascent Soul undergo said transformation. The process of the Nascent Soul transforming into a Divine Soul is called the Soul Transformation tribulation.

These five realms of cultivation, Sea Expansion Realm, Foundation Construction Realm, Core Formation Realm, Nascent Soul Realm, and Soul Transformation Realm, were collectively called the five Soul Realms.

After entering the Soul Transformation, one would be able to manipulate the laws between heaven and earth through only a thought. And this was where persons could create their own Daoist magic.

To breakthrough from the Soul Transformation Realm to the Heavenly Palace Realm one would need to create a second Divine Soul, but other than that the Head Elder didn’t exactly know how to go about doing that or why he should, as his cultivation was still years upon years away from reaching that level.

However, he did know that none of the five tribulations in the Soul Realms would provoke a heaven tribulation such as this. This ever-increasing tribulation in front of him was similar to the tribulation one undergoes when breaking through to the Heavenly Palace Realm.

The Elder was sure of it.

Gu Jin would send out a fist or a palm strike towards Lu Yue and she would counter it with her Sword Technique. However, she would be blown back and injured every time. After a few more of this, Lu Yue realized that she was getting further away from the battle.Gu Jin had purposely brought them here.“Are you just now realizing the situation you’re in?”Gu Jin said with a laugh.Lu Yue had fallen to the ground and as she slowly got up, Gu Jin’s gaze roamed over her slightly disheveled body.It didn’t take a genius to understand what was going on.However, Lu Yue seemed unphased despite the blood at the corner of her lips and was even weak to the point where she had to lean on her sword for support.Looking at Gu Jin, she said.“And it seems you haven’t realized the situation you're in yet.”Upon hearing that, Gu Jin frowned. However, a moment later his expression changed.Inside his body, he sensed several strands of frigid energy slowly circulating in his meridians. If it weren’t for
