“Where am I?” Asked Zeomora as he stood to his feet. He heard a horn being blown and people shouted with all their might. “That must be a war cry,” then he found himself outside a palace. Elves both young and old were running around in panic as soldiers slayed one elf after another. A soldier came running towards Zeomora with a spear on his hand preparing to kill him, but the soldier passed through him killing the female elf that was behind him.
He fell to the ground in relief as drops of sweat splashed to the ground. “It is not real, I must be seeing a vision.” In the air he saw four unique heroes, each holding a different weapon and everything became dark. Breathing heavily with a hidden fear within. “Where am I?” Said Zeomora, looking at his surrounding which was completely dark. He had memories of people shouting at him, ‘Of with him, he should die just like his disgraceful parents,’ which was followed by a gunshot in his chest. He came back to his senses and he fell to the ground in shock, touching his body parts in confirmation. He pulled his shirt open, looking at the wound on his chest which was caused by the bullet. His rate of breathing increased and he covered his head with his hands, while his head was inside his knees. “It can’t be true,” tears dripping down his cheeks, “am dead, I am truly dead.” He stood to his feet, “But where am I? Where is this place?” He saw a glimpse shadow of a feminine, slender body walking towards him. He took steps backwards, “What is that thing? And why is it coming my way?” The shadowy figure became clear. It was a feminine elf with a crown on her head with royal clothing. The elf said, “Greetings.” Zeomora asked, “Who are you? And what’s this place?” “That’s not of concern. Instead, you should be asking ‘what will happen to me?”“Am I truly dead?” “Yes, I could revive you back to your world, but I can’t change the state of your life,” walking nearer to him. “Or, I could reincarnate you in a world of magic and once you finish your quest, you are free to live the life you want.” He looked at his hands then to the elf, “I can get a new life,” smiling, “It’s like resetting and starting a brand new and …….” The elf interrupted him and said, “You should know that this quest won’t be easy. I need you to kill the four legendary heroes for me.” Fear filled him once again, “What do you mean, you want me to play the bad guy?” “You don’t have to be bad; you just have to kill the heroes.” His eyeballs protruded out of their eye sockets. “This can’t be happening, eventually everything will repeat itself, but it’s much better than being dead,” breathing deeply. “Well, I can’t go back to my previous life, so I have no choice, I must do this quest." He looked at the elf, “Why must I kill them, did they do anything to you?” The elf looked behind and said, “They killed my entire race, just because we were dark class,” clenching her hand in rage, “they even killed my daughter who I most cherished. But they also kill both old and young, even though we weren’t a threat they decided to wipe us out of existence. And I promised that I would take revenge. It’s been 200 years and my revenge is yet to be taken.” “What you mean is that the heroes are alive and that they are older than 200 years?” “No, they are dead. When a hero dies, another reincarnates in his place, but I want their descendants to feel the pain as their kind is killed. I know they are watching from a distance.” Zeomora thought for a second, “Then, would it make any difference if I killed them? Would not others just reincarnate?” “Yes, that’s true, and that’s where you come in, you have to find a way to permanently stop the reincarnation of a new hero, once you are done you can live your own life.” He gestured then said, “Fair enough,” looking at her, “but how am I supposed to kill the four heroes all by myself?” “That has already been dealt with,” she raised her voice and said, “raise my fallen kingdom.” And many elves appeared behind her, looking at Zeomora, “I shall give you the magic that remains in us.” Beginning to chant and black particles from the elves rose in the air. She then looked at Zeomora and said, “Now it’s all yours,” and the dust entered Zeomora. Their surrounding began to glitch, blue light appeared and there was a deep male voice which was heard, “I shall not allow you to do as you wish, I shall end this madness.” The man in bright clothing looked at Zeomora and was about to hit him with a beam of light, but the elf shouted “No!” Hitting the ground in which Zeomora stood and it swallowed him. His vision slowly faded as he became unconscious. “And this is how my life has begun. Reincarnated as a being whose sole purpose is to assassinate The Four Legendary Heroes.” He had a vision of someone being struck by lightning, then he returned to reality in shock. He was breathing heavily as he carefully studied his surrounding. He was in chains together with two other prisoners inside a cell which was being pulled by horses. Looking to the outside, he saw they were in the middle of soldiers who were also moving in horses. He asked in a low tone, “What are they protecting?” A prisoner next to him asked, “You awake?” Zeomora said, “I am, but my head hurts badly. Do you know what they are protecting? Because they are armed to the tooth.” The prisoner asked, “Are you ok?” Zeomora asked, “Yea, why do you ask?”The prisoner tapped the neighbour and told him, “Hay, his lost it.”The second prisoner reached out to Zeomora and said, “What do you mean,” looking shocked, “yea, that lightning bolt must have messed him badly.” Looking at his eyes, “He even no longer has the deathly look in his eyes.” Confused, Zeomora asked, “What are the two of you talking about?” The second prisoner going back to his sitting position, “Well, now there is no chance of an escape.” The first prisoner reached to Zeomora and asked him, “Well, don’t you remember a single thing?” “Well, did I have another life before this?” The prisoner asked confused, “Before what?” Zeomora looked to the ground and said, “I must have reincarnated to another man’s life,” looking at his hairy and muscular body, “no wonder I feel stronger while my previous body was weak.” Look to the outside, “I must know where we are heading and what this former person’s life was like.” He looked at the prisoner next to him, “What are the soldiers protecting and where are we heading?” The prisoner next to him answered, “They are all here, to prevent you from escaping.” If Zeomora was not in a sitting position he would have fallen to his knees. “They only caught you, because lightning struck you rendering you powerless. And we are being taken for a death sentence.” Zeomora said under his breath, “This can’t be happening, I have not even begun my mission.”The prisoner told him, “We have arrived.” All this time, Zeomora hoped that it would all turn out to be a vision. “Get out!” Said a soldier, holding a spear in both hands. When they were dragged out he saw that other people had already reached and were waiting for them. Among those who were waiting, was a priest. He smiled and said, “Your days are finally over. You’ve killed many, now their souls cry for vengeance and they shall be avenged today.” Zeomora’s body was shaking, hoping for someone or something to save him. Tears began to roll down his face, as they formed slightly warm streams down his cheeks. ‘How can I die, even before I ever accomplished a thing,’ he hit the ground with his fists, ‘this life has always been cruel to me. Never giving me a chance to prove my worth.’ Looking at the guns pointed at him together with the other two prisoners. ‘So, I shall die like a fallen soldier in battle, who has trained for years but never landed a hit on any of his e
He reappeared in a forest with rocky areas and sighed in pain before falling to his knees. His eyes turned back to normal, the armour and sword disappeared and he began to cry as he looked at his bloody body. Having memorise of the cries of the soldiers who died one after another. He removed his shirt and so on his chest he had a mark of a dragon’s head. He shouted, “Come out here you dragon, why did you do what you did against my will?” Through telekinesis, the dragon told him, “I saved your life. If I didn't do as I did, you would have died.” Hitting the ground with both hands, “Then I should have died instead of all those soldiers dying a worthless death.” “Do you hear yourself; those were the same people who wanted you dead and now you plead for them.” “It’s my choice, not yours to make.” The dragon shouted in rage, “Listen!” Making him appear where he had first met the dragon. “You will never survive in this world if you deci
Sweat trickled down his neck, “This day just had to be long,” studying the actions of the wolves. He tried looking for a way out, but could not think critically because of the chaos in his mind, “My only way out is asking help from the dragon.” He fell to his knees and said in a low voice, “Dragonlord I need your help,” and immediately he was teleported to where he had met him. The dragon came nearer to him and asked, “Have you now realized that the only way is to kill in order to survive?” Zeomora looked to the ground and said, “No, I am sorry, but I believe there is a world that exists with ought having to choose war.” The dragon laughed, “I used to picture life that way, till the day life taught me that a place like that never exists,” flying away, “but I shall help you. I have provided you with the sword, but you’ll have to use your skills.” He came back to reality and a description appeared before him. ‘You can now use portal storage. This allows you to sto
Residents screamed as something attacked them. The people who were chanting stopped and one of them asked, “What could that be? Could they have already arrived?” A man said as he shivered, “It seems,” pointing at a wolf, “look!” The people released shrieks of fear as each ran in different direction. A soldier said, “Stop firing at the man in the building he must be dead from the fire, let’s focus on the wolves." They began shooting the wolves in front of them, but the bullets were of little harm to them. Some of the wolves remained behind preventing being shot by the bullets, while others continued forward. A soldier asked, “What do we do now? The bullets don’t seem to do any damage on it.” Another said, “Even so, we have to keep firing.” Sounds of blasts were heard from behind, then they saw a man in red clothing approaching them. “Finally, the adventurers have arrived.” When the adventurer reached them, he asked, “Are you all ok?”A soldier ans
The adventurer said, ‘If he won’t answer me, then I’ll just have to beat him, then he’ll answer all my questions.” He also charged at him and was about to use a spell, but Zeomora disappeared. He quickly looked around, making sure Zeomora wasn’t going to use a surprise attack, but could not find him. He prepared himself in case he appeared anywhere, going in circles, trying to use a sixth sense. An attack came from the front and he quickly reacted by jumping away, but it slightly cut the upper side of his leg causing it to bleed. His breathing became louder and his heart rate increased lowering his hearing. ‘Where did the attack come from?’ He created a fireball and directed it behind him, but Zeomora held the blast distinguishing it. He used ‘Chainer binder’ and chains with sharp endings appeared from the ground and pierced him, holding him to the ground. Zeomora examined his hand and said, “I thought you were a worthy opponent but it seems you weren’t.” Th
His team members went behind him, preparing to attack. The sword Alkaldria laughed and said, “This is your team, a dark and water demi-humans,” looking at the monster and was shocked, “this is the monster which I have been hearing about……….,” Zeomora interrupted him and said, “Cut the story short, why are you here?” The sword Alkaldria said irritated, “You dare come back here after hiding for four months and killing all those innocent souls?” Zeomora said, “I warned them before they attacked me, I told them I didn’t want to fight them?” Becoming even more irritated, “What, you blame all those people you killed out there on themselves, I will surely kill you for what you have done.” Zeomora asked, “That’s so impressive, coming all this way just to kill me. I do believe you came here for something else, am I right?” The mage interrupted and said, “There will be no more explaining for now,” moving forward, “you seem to be too cocky, for a person with low s
Zeomora made Saiberlygh move faster while asking, “The monsters must have arrived?” The man said, “No, these monsters arrive earlier, the rest shall come hours later. Hopefully, they don’t usually attack people inside towns, cities, or villages.” A monster came out from the ground and went in front of them, throwing the carriage to the ground. Some monsters walked on two legs and had weapons on one hand. The monsters headed towards them, Uhpheldra went in front of them and drew out her sword. Zeomora said, “Run will take care of them,” he said, “And what about the medicine,” Zeomora said, “Don’t worry will take care of that,” and they ran away. Uhpheldra ran towards the monster, cutting off its leg and as it fell to the ground, she jumped on the back of its head and slaid it. The clouds cleared off and the sky stopped glowing red. Zeomora said, “We have to do something about the medicine,” Uhpheldra said, “I got it,” she made the whole carriage
The assassin ran towards him lowering his hand down, “What are you doing attacking the soldiers?” Suddenly, more monsters arrived and the soldiers ran away, but the warriors and the adventurers remained behind. The sword Alkaldria held his hands together, he breathed heavily, duplicating himself, then floating in the air. The duplicates sliced the monsters in great speed, splitting their body parts. The mage created a dragon that breathed out fire, setting the monsters a blaze. The mage went on top of the dragon and it flew up in the sky, he jumped out of the dragon, but before he reached the ground, he created a sphere that caused an explosion on the monsters, blowin
