Tyler stopped in his tracks and glared at Trent. “Get out of my way! I have an invitation.”

The young Cooper laughed aloud, and the crowd joined in. They wondered in amusement if Tyler was delusional or a fraud.

“You fool!” Trent bellowed. “Now you are caught in your own lies! Lord Douglas never sent out any invitations! The royal banquet admits guests at the door from a special list! The herald calls out the name of the individual or family!”

People surrounding them began to whisper and point accusatory fingers at Tyler.

“Someone call the cops!”

“Haha! The fraud shot himself in the foot!”
