Tyler returned home early in the morning to find Hugh and Ruth waiting for him outside the house. Isabella’s parents had joined them, too. In fact, a crowd had gathered outside the Grant residence, mainly including nosy neighbors. It was as if something unfortunate had happened.

As Tyler and Isabella rolled into the driveway, the crowd surrounded them.

“What took you so long?” Mrs. Green asked her daughter sternly, grabbing the girl by her arm. “Where were you last night?”

“Tyler, tell me what’s going on?” Ruth asked her son. “We’ve been calling you both since yesterday evening, but there was no answer!”

Unable to contact Tyler or Isabella, both mothers had sought the help of neighbors and others to find them. They were also about to file a missing persons report.

The nosy neighbors scoffed at Tyler and Isabella and began voicing their own theories about the duo’s disappearance.
