The mysterious stranger slowly took off the hood over his head, revealing his face under the gleaming chandelier lights of the bar. Rex recognized him immediately, his lips parting in surprise. "So, it's you, Mr. Parker."

"Damn it, you already scared me with that gangster-like voice," Rex exclaimed, slapping his forehead in displeasure. Regaining his composure, he sighed and smiled at Mr. Parker, who was known as the assistant to Leander's late father, Daxton.

"Oh really?" Mr. Parker's sharp reply echoed through the bar, his voice booming.

"But wait, how did you know I was here?" Confused and concerned, Rex demanded answers, his breath hitching.

"Well, I'm here with my friends for some refreshments and relaxation. That's all," Mr. Parker answered with a raised eyebrow, a soft chuckle dancing on his lips.
