Jack and Blade were surprised that Bella was already there, waiting for them before they even got in.

Blade knew he needed to give them space, and he did, knowing that Jack would definitely give him feedback, as they had agreed.

“How come you got here first before we did?” Jack inquired.

“I left my house and came to this place immediately after I called you,” Bella replied.

“Why? What if I didn't come? Maybe something came up from my end,” Jack questioned.

“I would have gone back to my house. It doesn't mean a thing.”

“That sounds funny, anyway,” Jack chuckled.

“That is by the way. Firstly, I would like to thank you for how you paid my mother's bills, and I had enough to take care of her for the few days she will be staying there.” Bella said in an appreciative manner, adding some emotion to the atmosphere
