Chapter 21

Jack parked the car in the garage and walked straight inside the mansion.

His stomach churned with anxiety as he couldn't wait for what the findings would be, even though he knew Blade would always deliver swiftly whenever it came to spying.

“Hey, man,” he called to Blade as he walked in.

Before Blade could respond, one of the housekeepers got close enough to take out his briefcase. “Welcome, sir,” Jack already knew why he came around. So, he removed the jacket of his well-tailored gray suit and handed it to him along with his briefcase.

He walked to his room, and Blade trailed right behind him.

As soon as they entered Jack’s room, “Welcome, boss. But you got back a few minutes earlier than I expected,” Blade said, facing him, and went on to ask, “How was work today?”

“It was fine. Please, let's get down to business. What and what did you come up with concerning the finding?” He questioned Blade and made himself comfortable as he sat down on the bed.

“Hmmm,” Blade sighed in resignatio
