Chapter 35

“Good morning, sir,” Jack said as he gestured to Mr. Miller and Mr. Morton as they walked into his office.

The comfortable look on Jack’s face was questionable, but they ignored it. They needed to compose themselves as much as they could to discuss what brought them.

“We had a deal yesterday, so we are here to conclude the deal.” Mr. Miller declared.

“I can recall vividly,” Jack replied confidently.

“Here are the account details; you can transfer the amount at once.”

“I will, but can you take a look at this?” Jack said, rotating to their view the tax records he had compiled, which were placed on the table.

Mr. Miller, not sparing a single look at the documents, popped up in anger and frustration.
