At Kate’s office, a million and one thoughts had crossed her mind about letting his boss know about the conspiracies from Josh. The urge to tell him was there, but now she feels her job is at stake. The idea of her losing on both sides took away the better side of her thoughts because if she carefully explains to her boss, he will know who his enemy is. Although Josh didn't let her know, Jack used to be his colleague at San Diego hotels.

But from his reaction, she could state that Josh was working on an influence and also had something to do with his boss in the recent past. The fear of whether her boss was going to believe her set in, but she decided to give it a try.

At first, Kate's stomach lurched, but she pushed forward. She took a deep breath, with their chins lifting a slight notch. She stood up and headed to Mr. Jack’s office. Furthermore, she paused at the doorway, then resolutely stepped through.
