Chapter 77

Mr. Andrew just got back from the campaign headquarters. The day was the most uneventful for him, as he walked into the house like one who had just escaped death.

Immediately after he got to what seemed like the middle of the living room, he screamed out loud in pain, “What!” Mr. Andrew stood still in shock, staring at Scott. “That foolish boy!” He added, rage evident as he scattered the crystal vase with fresh flowers and the sculptured object on the table. He panted heavily with clenched fists. “How dare he?” He seethed.

He already called Scott on his way back and narrated to him what had happened at the campaign headquarters.

“You don't need to worry about him; he is just a boy like you referred to him, who thinks he is now a big shot,” Scott said as he carefully moved backward a bit.

He could still remember vividly how his boss slapped Nancy.

In Scott’s mind, ‘if Mr. Andrew could slap Nancy, then who is he?’ Let alone now, he had to face an iceberg of humiliation from the public.
