Chapter 93

At the same interval, Jack stepped into his mansion after he parked his car in the garage. His face wore a heavy frown, with his brow furrowed in deep thought and his lips pressed into a tight line.

He didn't get to the house straight from the court. He had gone to play some tennis, even in the sweltering heat, just to know if he could cool his already tense nerves down. But that didn't work out as the tension in him remained unmoved, so he decided to head home, although Blade had been calling him, and he had refused to pick up his call.

“Young master, what is wrong?” Blade inquired as his boss looked troubled the moment he saw him. “I hope you are fine.” Concern was evident in his voice as he stood not far from Jack, in the living room.

Jack simply ignored him and made his way to his room, his footsteps heavy with frustration and disappointment. Blade had to trail him from behind, determined to get some answers.
