"Why are you crying?" I was not able to not ask and the tearful eyes that so much resembled two grenades stared at me.

"Because... I am happy."

She said as she sniffed and as she had done so many times, I dried her tears with lingering kisses all over her face. I felt her cheeks warm with each kiss and when I walked away to face the feared duchess, she looked more like a blushing child.

"When did you become so unfair?" she muttered as her arms wrapped around my hip.

"I don’t know... I think knowing that you’re in love with me... makes me safe, confident, happy..." I muttered, feeling my face blush and Asra’s lips arched upwards seductively.

"My Elaine is really amazing" she whispered with her face next to mine and I could feel my heart miss too many beats for my own good, my lungs forget the proper way to pump air and what was left of blood in my body... just went straight up to my face.
