“How is it, darling?” Patricia, Johan Brown's wife, tugged on Johan's arm several times.

Johan's eyes glanced at his wife, the movement slow and slightly hesitant. His jaw hardened, and his fingers unconsciously tapped the surface of the table, as if looking for a way to avoid the question that had just been asked. “How what?”

Patricia frowned. Exhaling in resignation, her shoulders slumped as if she was carrying the weight of the world. “About our son, of course. He's been arrested by the police.”

Johan reached over and held his wife's trembling hand. With his thumb, he rubbed the back of her hand. “It will be alright. Uncle Andreas will be here soon. Cole is a reliable person.”

Johan said it softly, giving her a calm

“Finally!” Andreas exclaimed, the corners of his lips lifting, forming a wide, almost cocky smile. The morning air felt fresher as he stepped out of the cold bars, his mind light as if a huge weight had just been lifted. He strode with his chest puffed out, as if this vast earth was his again. “This is how a member of the Brown family should feel!” As soon as the police station door opened, Andreas looked back with a sharp gaze full of mockery. He spat on the ground, his spittle landing with a low sound that sounded piercing amongst the silence. In a deliberately slow motion, he pointed his middle finger at the officers on duty. “You should know who you're dealing with!”The policeman on guard could only hold his breath, his eyes narrowed with seething anger. His hands were clenched at his sides, but he remained motionless. In front of him stood a man dressed in military garb, his aura stern and intimidating, a figure he clearly did not want to challenge. Acting rashly would only mak

One of the cops crouched down, tapping the man's shoulder carefully. “What's going on here? He squeezed the side of his stomach, the expression on his face one of pain. “He... he attacked me-”The cop glanced at Don's hand clutching his solar plexus. His forehead wrinkled, as if he realized something. “A blow to the liver. It must hurt a lot.”Don took a deep breath, but only half the air made it in before it stopped with a raspy sound, like a rusty wheel trying to turn. Made me crash, then hit me!” His voice rose, though his breathing was intermittent. “He thinks he's... untouchable!”The policeman shook his head softly, his palm remaining on Don
