CHAPTER 27
With the feeling of fear for the first time, the hybrid then felt the excitement surging through its veins. Its wings flapped wide, and the grin on its face became wider.

“Thomas Jack, I’ll remember that name alright!” the hybrid screeched as it then launched forward for an attack.

With a deep breath, Thomas stepped to his right and just swiftly avoided the attack of the hybrid. Earlier, because of uncertainty, Thomas was unable to avoid and become more agile. But right now, he is almost as light as a feather that is being blown by a wind. Every movement he makes, it was just so flawless, that the hybrid started getting sweaty and the exhaustion is now evident. With his previous intense battles, Thomas has learned a lot, and because of those battles…he became stronger. Parry…dodge…duck…jump…and slash. Finally, the hybrid got wounded by the blade of Thomas.

“That sting, quite a sword you have there. I would like to add it to one of my talons!” the hybrid laughed.
