“Hello, Julian. Can I ask you a favor?”

“Yes, Young Master. What can I do for you?”

“Do you know that famous boutique downtown?”

“Yes, I do, Young Master. What’s wrong with that boutique?”

“I want you to buy that boutique and don’t let a woman named Amanda Lewis get in there.”

“Yes sir.”

Lukas immediately hung up his cell phone, then he left his room. He glanced at Mr. Michael who was still sitting contemplating in the living room. Of course, it seemed like there was another problem after the ten billion dollars was given by Lukas.

“Is there something else bothering you, Dad? Didn’t you get ten billion dollars from me?”

“There’s another problem going on, Lukas. And this is a pretty big problem.”

“What is it?”

“Today there are several of my business relations who have unilaterally terminated their cooperation. I don’t know what the problem is or why, it’s just that this is making our family company even worse. I need a business relationship from a large company to support our family company which is almost bankrupt.”

Of course what Mr. Michael did was very different. Now Mr. Michael seemed to include Lukas and considered Lukas to be a member of his family. By saying ‘our company’ of course. In fact, before Lukas gave the ten billion dollars, let alone talking about the company as theirs. He didn’t  even consider Lukas as a family member at all.

“What if you told Brian to look for a big company and offer a good relationship? As far as I know, there is a company called M Group, which is a very large company, right?” Lukas told.

“Don’t hope for the moon, Lukas. M Group is an ambiguous company, it is the number one company in the world. Only leading companies have the opportunity to collaborate with this company. Lukas smiled again, the corners of his eyes was full of confidence as he was looking at the nervous Brian.

“Do you know Victoria boutique? That’s my regular boutique. Today Mrs. Victoria is launching a new product, and I’ll make sure to get the exclusive version of that product.”

“I know who you are, Amanda. Who doesn’t know you? You are the daughter of the Lewis family, you can definitely get everything.”

“Yes, that’s me.”

Amanda and her friends immediately walked into the boutique, only for a security guard to immediately block Amanda from entering. Meanwhile, Amanda’s other friends were allowed to enter.

“Wait, what happened? Are you crazy, sir? I am Amanda Lewis, one of the VVIP members at this boutique. How could you stop me from coming in? Do you know that I could even report your unpleasant behavior to Mrs. Victoria and I’m sure that you would immediately be fired from your cheap job.”

“I’m sorry, Miss Lewis. But I’m just following orders. I received direct orders from Mrs. Victoria to forbid you from entering the boutique.”

Suddenly the security officer’s words made Amanda even more annoyed and embarrassed. How could it not be, Amanda was with her friends. And not only Amanda’s friends. Even all the guests who came to see the exhibition from Victoria’s boutique looked at Amanda with scorn.

“Don’t be presumptuous, sir! You’re just a security guard! Stop acting or I will report you directly to Mrs. Victoria!”

“This boutique no longer belongs to Mrs. Victoria, Miss Lewis. But it already belongs to the Malik family. And the Malik family specifically told us to blacklist you from this boutique.”

Amanda could only remain silent, her mouth was tightly shut. Amanda could only walk stupidly while being forced to be dragged by two security guards out of the Victoria boutique.

“Damn! Who is this Malik family? Hasn’t Mr. Malik had a good relationship with Dad all this time? So why are they suddenly doing something like this to me?!”

Mr. Michael immediately said what he wanted while the whole family was having breakfast. And sure enough, now the family servant was the one who prepared breakfast. It was no longer Lukas’ job, Mrs. Michael had just hired one servant to do all the work previously done by Lukas.

“The fact that Lukas has helped our family cannot be denied, Brian. And you, can you provide something good for our family? So be quiet, and focus on what I want from you.”

Brian turned his face, he looked at Renata. Both of them had faces of extreme disgust.

“I want you both to go to M Group to propose a business relationship. For those who succeed in establishing a cooperative relationship between the Michael Group and the M Group, then you will get Amanda. How about that?”

Brian, who was initially lazy and not interested in this, immediately drew one eyebrow perfectly. It was like an opportunity for Brian to get back with Amanda.

However, this did not apply to Lukas. He no longer had any feelings for Amanda. So this challenge was really unfavorable for him, except when Lukas wanted to make Brian even more annoyed with him.

“Okay, I agree!” Brian answered enthusiastically.

“Actually, I don’t really care who Amanda gets back with, because I no longer have any interest in that woman. But winning this bet is something worth trying.”

“Okay, you guys can come up with ideas. And the day after tomorrow, you can go to fight.”

Lukas just smiled sarcastically. After he finished eating he said goodbye and left.

After Lukas was gone, Brian immediately looked at his father’s face in annoyance.

“Do yoy now consider Lukas to be your son, Dad? How could the ten billion dollars make you become a dog who kept licking Lukas’ feet like that? He’s just an adopted son, Dad. He is just a useless kid who managed to get ten billion dollars out of nowhere!” Brian was angry.

“Shut up, Brian. Just so you know, I don’t want Lukas to be one of our family either. It’s just that apart from Lukas having given our family ten billion dollars that you couldn’t get to overcome the company crisis, you need to remember that now Lukas is the owner of shares in our company. So, indirectly, Lukas is on the same level as us. Moreover, now Lukas doesn’t want to use our family name after his name, he has his own name to validate the buying and selling of shares.”
