Chapter 5

His Grandpa stared at him for a long time, Tyrone thought he wouldn't agree but when he was about to speak, he suddenly nodded.

"Okay, I agree to your condition. For the good of the company, about forgiving me." He stopped and leaned back on the sofa. "I know you won't forgive me so quickly—"

"Don't expect me to forgive you anymore," he interrupted what he was going to say. He didn't react but he nodded. "My life has been hell for five years, maybe you were surprised that I've changed. You didn't think that the former Tyrone you killed is still like this," he added.

"I know, I understand."

"Sign the contract of posting me as the new CEO of the company," he said quickly. Tyrone don't care if he thinks he's in a hurry, he don't care if he thinks he's a gold digger. He just want to speed up so Dahlia doesn't leave him.

It's the only way he know to keep her from leaving.

He looked at him in amazement. Tyrone read the surprise on his face.

"Is that how much you want to be the CEO of the company and why do you seem to be in such a hurry?" he says.

He grinned. "Up to you, I might change my mind and never come back."

As he expected, his grandfather sighed and nodded. Tyrone smirked even more, is he really the only one he can count on to manage the company? He suddenly stood up and came to the table, he took something and when he turned around he was holding a black card.

He frowned.

"This is for you." He handed it to him and Tyrone hesitated to take it. He looked at it closely and it was beautiful and shining.

He was about to speak but suddenly his cellphone rang so he took it out of his pocket. He saw that ma'am Runa was calling, Tyrone quickly answered the call.

"Hi," he said.

"Hey?! Where the hell are you?!" she shouted and he quickly moved his cellphone away from his ear.

He even saw grandfather's frown, he was watching him. Tyrone just ignored him.

"I'm here—"

"I don't care where the hell you are! You're still a servant in my mansion, why are you leaving without telling me? I'm going to be late for the party I'm going to!" she shouted and he could feel her anger, Tyrone could immediately imagine her angry eyes looking at him.

His eyes widened. "I'm going back to the mansion," he said, confused.

"As you should! If I'm late, it's your fault! You sleep on the road If I'm late to the party I am going to!" after she said that, she quickly hung up.

He took a deep breath and put his cell phone back in his pocket, he felt that his cell phone had been damaged by her yelling. Tyrone know it's normal for him that she always hates talking to him, but he still can't help but feel sad every time she yells at him. Tyrone want to get close to her because she is Dahlia's mommy, but he feel like it's very difficult because she doesn't like him at first.

He looked at grandfather who was looking at him.

"I heard you work at the Suarez mansion," he said.

"What about that? Don't you think someone like me would work as a servant?" he raised his eyebrows. He didn't say a word so Tyrone speak. "I have to go."

"I hope you save the company, you're the only one who can save the company, Tyrone. You know I'm old and about to die, even if I want to manage the company myself. I know it's impossible because of my age, " he says. And he can feel the seriousness in his voice. Is he that concerned about the company? After all, this is what the Guerreros are really like, he won't be surprised.

"I promise, for the company. Not for anyone," he said before leaving his office.

He put the black card that grandfather gave him in his pocket before going straight to the elevator. People were still looking at him but he just ignored them like he did earlier. Tyrone even passed Avan and Erick in the lobby, they bowed to him but he ignored them.

People like them are annoying.

He took a taxi while thinking about what happened to the company. He don't know if he made the right decision to return to the company, return to being Guerrero.

Even before, when he was young he didn't want to be Guerrero. When he were young, he knew that Guerrero's dirty moves. He's angry that he's Guerrero but there's nothing he can do because he lived with that surname.

He made the decision to return to the company so that Dahlia wouldn't leave him. He need to have wealth, he need to have something to be proud of.

On the other hand, Dahlia looked annoyed at the clock, she was even more annoyed because she was almost late to her urgent meeting.

The driver is on leave today so no one will take her, Tyrone should be the one to take her where she's going otherwise she's even more annoyed because he left.

He didn't even say where he was going! Annoyed, Dahlia looked at the air and crossed her arms.

"Mom?! Did you call him?!" she shouted in annoyance and looked at her mommy. She saw her nodded.

"He say he's coming back, your husband is really worthless. That man is annoying, why did you marry him?!" she answered.

She was annoyed with that. "I didn't want to marry that, mommy. Daddy forced me. He even said that I have a bright future when he becomes my husband, but look at me now?! My life is ruined!"

She didn't answer so she calmed herself down again and looked at the clock. But she quickly burst into anger because she's really late now!

"I'm really late!" she screamed in annoyance.

"You husband has wings and today you will cut his wings!" her mother shouted.
