Chapter 8

"That necklace is not real," he told them without  thinking while looking at the necklace.

The three of them turned to him, he saw that Henrick's smile had disappeared so he grinned.

"What are you talking about, Tyron?" Dahlia asked annoyed. "How can you be sure it's fake? You're just poor, aren't you? I'm sure you only saw something like this now because you're poor. And you don't know anything about these things because they're only for the rich."

"What? He's poor?" Henrick asked and Dahlia nodded. Henrick suddenly grinned. "Now I know why he said this necklace is fake. Are you planning to steal this necklace?"

Tyrone heard the gaps of Dahlia's friend. "Oh my god, should I call the police?!" she shouted while looking at him badly.

He frowned at what the three of them were saying. "Yes, I'm poor, but I have no plans to steal that. First of all, because that's not the real diamond necklace," he said. He saw that Henrick was pale so he took his cell phone out of his pocket and googled it.

After a while, the result of his search about the necklace appeared. There is information about the necklace, when it was made, why only three peaces were made, who bought the necklace, how much it will cost over time, which diamond it is made of and above all It is located there that the last diamond necklace was sold last year.

He grinned before presenting his cellphone to them. He saw them frown and didn't seem to understand what he was trying  to say. He grinned.

"Look, the real necklace was sold last year. So that necklace is fake," I said and pointed to the necklace around Dahlia's neck. "It can be seen here that the last necklace has been sold and Henrick's name is not written as the person who bought it."

He saw that Henrick became even more pale when Dahlia looked at his cellphone. Tyrone saw Dahlia's expression change, he couldn't tell if she was disappointed because Henrick didn't tell the truth.

When she finished looking at it, she turned to Henrick who he now noticed that he was nervous, there was sweat on his neck and forehead even though there was air con in this office. Tyrone smirked.

"It's true, the real necklace was sold last year," Dahlia said and held the necklace around her neck. "So this necklace isn't real?"

"What?" Henrick shouted, looking shocked at what he heard. "I'm sorry, I'm really sorry, Dahlia! I didn't know it was fake I bought it. I'm going to file a case with the company I bought it from, I really didn't know it was fake! But don't worry, it's the same price of the real diamond necklace And next time I will buy that real necklace for sure."

"It's okay, Henrick. It's fine, I'll still wear this necklace because I appreciate your efforts." Dahlia nodded at him and smiled. "And you don't have to buy me that much, okay? I'm fine."

"No, Dahlia. I'll still buy you because you deserve it, I'm so sorry. I promise this will never happen again." Henrick answered with a smile.

He smirked at Henrick and when he saw that, his smile disappeared and he glared at him. "You shouldn't have lied, you should have just said that necklace was fake," he said smiling while enjoying watching his angry face. He look so angry.

"You ugly rat!" he shouted and came to me. "Why are you interfering?! You're just poor and you don't know anything about this. Maybe you're jealous because you can't afford to buy something like this?!" He shouted angrily at him while looking at him evilly.

"Yeah, you're right! He's jealous of you! I hate this guy!" Dahlia's friend shouted. She also looked at him badly as if she wanted to hurt him physically.

"What's wrong with being poor?! Not all poor people have bad intentions!" he said to them annoyed. He don't understand why they have this mindset. "Why didn't you just admit to Dahlia that that necklace isn't real? For sure she can understand that, that necklace isn't real so I'm sure that the price of 25 million dollars isn't real either!"

He grinned because Henrick seemed really annoyed with him. "Maybe you can't afford that real necklace so you bought a fake one." he said while giving him a mocking smile.

Henrick was about to punch me but Dahlia screamed.

"Stop this nonsense fighting!" she shouted and looked at him evilly before approaching him.

She grabbed his arm and pulled him out of her office, she opened the door and pushed him out.

"Leave! Fvcking leave, before I explode in anger, Tyrone!" she shouted at him. He could read the anger in her eyes. "Don't mess with my life like you're important to me! You've never done anything right! I really can't wait for whatever we have to be over!"

That's when he felt fear from what she said but he didn't say a word so as not to increase her anger towards him.

"If I go home, who will take you home?" Tyrone asked weakly.

She looked at him badly. "Henrick will be the one to take me, so leave! I'm disgusted when I see your face!" she said and closed the door.

He was left hurt because of what she said, he sighed loudly before starting to walk away from her office.

He entered the elevator while thinking about what happened, did he do something bad? he just said that necklace wasn't real, because it was.

But why did she get angry with him and not Henrick because he lied about the necklace.

He don't understand why Dahlia doesn't like him, he knew that even though hebecame the CEO of they company, she still doesn't like Tyrone.

Am I that hard to love? He asked himself.

Next time he will buy her the most expensive necklace in the world and show her what her husband worth.
