The Beast Tide; A New Discovery

Shambala finally answered them.

“There is a beast tide heading towards us lads,” he said as he kept running.

“What is a beast tide, sensei?” Vladimir asked out of curiosity, as it was the first time he or any of them had heard of such.

“It is when thousands of beasts gallop towards a particular destination and destroy whatever is in the way just to get there,” Shambala replied.

“What the heck? Thousands?” Grover gasped.

“Why so many? Is it like a tradition, or is there something wrong?" Krystal asked.

“Did we kill a beast we should not have? Was it the beast in the hole Vladimir killed?” Grover asked.

“It might be true because it was unconquerable,” Vladimir added.

“Are they looking for its killer to kill or to make a new ruler?” Krystal questioned.

They kept bringing up suggestions and questions to get Shambala to answer them, as they were very curious.

Shambala did not reply to them but rather told them to run faster so that they could ask all the questions later if they survived.
