Just when Garvin suspected that there was something wrong with Sebastian's head, Sebastian laughed out loud. "Haha, I'm joking, don't take it seriously! I'm just more curious than the average person about whether there are unseen spirits in the world. That's all."

"No wonder you clamored to go to the Hacken Cliff's Haunted House yesterday when you heard about it, and even lied to me that you were going to write an article about a scary trip." Garvin suddenly came to his senses.

"I'm not lying to you," Sebastian scratched his head, "I do have plans to write an article on this."

Just as he was talking, Garvin happened to catch a glimpse of Linda and the two other girls walking out of a small burger shop diagonally across the street from the corner of his eye. Each one was holding a bunch of bulging food bags in their hands. It looked like they bought food and planned to take it back to school to eat.

Garvin stared blankly at Linda and murmured. "It's gone."
