About twenty minutes later, the taxi turned out of the town center and came to a long road built along the coast. Unlike the bluestone or cobblestone streets in the center of the town, this coastal road was paved with cement, like a thick gray snake, and winded all the way to the promontory in front.

On the outside of the coastal road was the undulating blue coast, and below it were patches of messy black reef beaches and the ebb and flow of the blue-gray sea. On the inside was a rolling hillside, with residential houses surrounded by dense woods. They were sparsely scattered throughout the hillside under the cover of the sky.

Originally, this small town felt deserted, but when they arrived here it was extremely quiet, with only a few pitiful figures walking near and far along the roads.
