[Awaken]

When I fell to the ground, my mother was knocked out due to the adverse effects of Cellular Enhancement.

I attempted to speak, but I was interrupted by a kick to the face from the young noble.

His face turned red with anger and veins bulged in his neck. He continued to kick me, but I retaliated by provoking him. I knew it wasn’t wise, but I needed to buy some time.

I already knew that the bracelet on my hand had something to do with using my ether to escape. It appeared to be an ether seal bracelet with gravity enhancement, likely worth a fortune. It was clear that the young noble hated me quite a bit.

Suddenly, he stopped. “Since you are so cheeky with your words, I should do you a favor and cut off your tongue,” the young noble said with a smirk on his face.

But my body refused to move, no matter how much I willed it to. He reached my mother, and I was forced to watch what he would do to her, powerlessly.

“Don’t hurt my son, you bastard!” my mother shouted, glaring at the noble.

‘No, no, don’t say anything. Don’t take his attention from me,’ I thought in despair. “Oh, it seems like you still have the strength to talk,” the young noble said with a malicious smile forming on his face as he let go of me and began to walk toward my mother.

“Goddammit, Move, Move!” I shouted to myself, but my body did not respond. I was forced to watch as the noble began to hit her, from punches to kicks to stomps. I felt the rage boiling up within me, but my body still didn’t respond.

He went on with it until my mother’s face was swollen and bruised. Then he stopped his beatings and bent down to grab her hair. “Tch, you bitch, you don’t know anything,” he said, punching her in the face.

“NO, MOM!” I shouted, but my body remained powerless. I watched in horror as he took out his knife and aimed it at her throat, about to take her life.

Then suddenly, It slowed down

A faceless man knelt before another man sitting on a chair and staring into the infinite space above him. “Don’t worry, little one. The realms are just welcoming the arrival of a new powerhouse,” the unknown man said with a slight smile on his face.

////Somewhere Far Far Away////

Somewhere far away, Within the dark expanse of boundless space lay a terrifying and foreboding palace. Around it was an abyss of nothing but darkness, A void that seems to stretch on forever. There lived a powerful race.

A shrouded man gave a piece of paper to a beast, a man, a monster sitting on a massive throne of absolute power and darkness towering high above the ground. It is carved from the bones of fallen horrors and encrusted with gems of unimaginable value giving it a cold, malevolent energy that would make anyone that approached it uneasy. “My lord, these are the reports from the oracle,” the shrouded man spoke while bowing.

“Hmm...” The being read through the report and began to cackle. “HAHAHAHAHA,” he laughed. “Heed my order. Arrange the troops, War is on the horizon!”

Somewhere Else:

A boy with a soul that has lived through many reincarnations without him knowing trekked through the desert, his body weakened by thirst and hunger. Suddenly, he stopped and glanced in a direction, his eyes glowing briefly and the air around him changing. “Good luck...boy,” his voice whispered, and then he collapsed and died.

*Boom*

A powerful blast of ether flowed from Vincent spreading out for miles, thumping away everything in its path. The young noble was caught off guard and sent flying by the force of the blast, while Vincent’s mother remained relatively safe within some kind of barrier.

After being blown hundreds of meters away, the young noble finally gained footing, but he was injured and disoriented. His wounds bled profusely and his vision was blurred, with his ears still ringing from the impact.

As he looked up, he saw one of the scariest things he had ever witnessed. The noble whimpered, “....Help me."
