"I’ll not get anything from them." Brandon sighed, leaving the glass house. "I don’t think you were planning on getting any boss; you just wanted to push them." Madrigal responded at the back of the car.

"When did you return?" Brandon asked him surprisedly to meet him, already waiting for him inside the car. He didn’t know he had returned after following Esmeralda.

"Not too long, Torillio was there, and I guess Vanessa too; they’re hiding something," Madrigal responded. Brandon rubbed his palms on his face depressingly. He had too much on his plate as he got to solve one problem, then another resurfaced.

"I won’t let this let us down; we should go somewhere before going home," Brandon replied, driving by himself instead of Madrigal. Herveaux’s sudden suicide was immersed in his thoughts. "The bruises and olvido had a point; uncle Herveaux does calligraphy, and I believe his suicide note would be written, pen to paper," he thought out loud.
