IF YOU LET ME

Hailey was walking to and fro aimlessly in her compound. "I am impatiently waiting for a reply that seems not to be coming," she mumbled.

A car arrived inside her mansion, and she ran towards it like a raging bull. “Give me the updates; how did it go? Where is my passport?” She asked impatiently.

"Ma'am, you cannot travel out of the country,” he replied, getting out of the car. Hailey freaked out and grabbed him by the collar of his suit.

“NO!" "What do you mean, that’s impossible? I have lots of connections,” Hailey shrieked.

“I have declared you wanted by the police; it would be hard for anyone to help, ma'am,” he responded.

“No! This is all Kimberly’s fault; she threatened to bring me down,” Hailey arced bitterly.

“All these would have been prevented if I had just shut her up before now, along with her father,” Hailey added.
