REUNION TABLE.

AT THE TABLE.

"It’ll soon be over; Hailey will go down, and so will RAD," Brandon said, kissing the picture of his son hung on the dressing mirror. He took the cufflinks and fixed them to the holes in his sleeves. " I am ready for the party," he smiled, sliding his pistol inside his suit as he brushed the curls on his hair. He noticed the black dye was fading off, leaving streaks of brown hair on his head.

" I’ll leave you that way." He took his phone and slammed the door.

The table was set, and the party was scheduled to start in a few minutes. None of the invited guests had shown up. Not even the bride, Esmeralda.

" Boss," madrigal cleed out, waving up to him a clutch. They shook hands, taking a seat at the table as Brandon lingered on his watch.

"Think they won’t show up?" Madrigal asked tiredly. His eyes were wrinkled and teary. " It’s impossible; all humans want something, and when they’re desperate, they would go into the fire to get it," Brandon arced confidently.
