019 - A Long Night
He rushes to the window and examines the outside for more. His car is still there, and everything looks so normal outside.

“Could it be that the two robbers changed their minds and left everything here? There’s no way!”

He really can’t grasp what is happening and how the money and the ring are left there in the front of the door.

He checks everything around the house, making sure there is no place for thieves to enter. He also checks every corner in the house, to make sure no one is hiding inside.

Only after that, he goes back to his room, locks himself inside, and then sits behind the door with a frightened look on his face. In the end, he finds it hard to get to sleep again.

And currently, the condition with Emma is hardly different. She still has nowhere to go, and Lucas hasn’t offered anything to her. Instead, Lucas’s attention is on the TV at one corner of the bar, watching an interview of some new Hollywood star.
