136 - Fateful Meeting

Some said, when you do something bad and try to run away from it, something worse will keep haunting you like an iceball. Whether it’s a regret, remorse, guilt, or just someone who seeks for your responsibility or revenge.

When Lucas gets back to his office, he finds a commotion in the lobby. He takes a look from afar, and finds that the commotion occurs by a woman that looks familiar to him.

As if not wanting to get entangled in whatever that woman is doing at the moment, he cancels his intention to park the car and keeps going. In the end, he decides to leave the office.

Meanwhile, the receptionist and two securities are having trouble serving that lady.

“How could you say that my husband is not working here?”

“We’ve checked it so many times. But there’s really no staff or employee with the name Paulo Henrique that you mentioned,” replies the receptionist.

“But he did say that he is working for Atkinson Pharmaceutical Company!”

“Like I said before, your husband might have been lying
