214 - No More Mercy

She begins to worry, thinking that Victor may be trying to do the same thing that he did to Diego. She takes out her phone, intending to call Victor.

But then, she cancels her intention immediately. For once, she wants to stop thinking so bad of him. She keeps reminding herself about Victor she used to know, the one who always had a good heart who never spoke harshly or badly to anyone, let alone hurting people.

“Well, he must be busy outside. He is the boss here, and Counterbrand is in trouble now,” she mumbles to herself as she walks to her working desk.

She looks around for a moment, thinking what she should do for the time being. And then, she heads to the conference room, to look for something she may be able to do for a while before Victor returns.
