266 - The Symptoms

Mike takes a long sigh. He doesn’t want to take the risk of taking Victor back to the hideout. It will be such a rush if Victor’s condition gets so serious and forces him to see a doctor.

Rather than taking him back home, Mike takes Victor to Dr. Chris Lamar’s clinic. And just like before, their arrival only disturbs the bald doctor's rest.

But Victor’s fever is only getting even more serious. And Dr. Chris Lamar has no choice but to accept him that late.

“Why is he so wet like this? What happened to him?”

“He fell into the pool an hour ago,” replies Mike.

“And you didn’t take off his wet clothes? What if he dies of hypothermia?”

Mike scrunched up his face, as he feels that Dr. Lamar's worry is too exaggerated. Dr. Lamar just shakes his head as he immediately takes Victor’s wet clothes. He then tells Mike to bring Victor inside.

Mike just carries Victor without waking him up. It’s clear that Victor won’t be able to walk by himself in that situation.
