281 - No Means No

Ellis is worried that his friend would visit that pizza shop. But of course, Lewis Maxwell is not that naive as a journalist. He just heads to the cake shop and orders some cakes, and then takes them with him back to the car.

But he doesn’t offer it to Ellis. He just puts them on the dashboard and eats the cake himself. It would be too odd if he stays there for too long without doing nothing.

“Man, I thought you were going to visit that pizza shop,” says Ellis as he tries to pick the bagel.

Lewis Maxwell hits his hand, and immediately moves his cakes away from him. He stares at him coldly, looking so reluctant to share the cakes with him.

Ellis White is much richer than him and has a better career. But he knows that Ellis is such a stingy person, that’s why he looks so reluctant to share anything with him.
