A few moments later, two cops arrive. They intend to take Viona for further investigation, but Viona just clears everything simply by showing them Charles’s video.

She never knew that she would be the one who needs it the most. But still, she is now in a dilemma whether to tell them the real story.

“A suicide?” mumbles one of the cops. He then raises one of his eyebrows toward Viona, as if he is still in doubt. “Why would he choose Ricin for a suicide? I assume that you are well aware about the characteristics of this poison. You should know how weird it is when someone deliberately chooses Ricin instead of other kind of poison.”

“Why don’t you just ask the man himself later. I just happened to find him recording that video. That’s when I knew he was trying to commit suicide. More than suicide, he was trying to punish himself for something,” explains Viona.

“A punishment, huh?” responds that cop with a few nods, seeming to find it a bit more reasonable for Charles to pick Ricin.
