Sometimes, It’s not that difficult to handle rejection from a stranger. You can ignore it, and move on with your life. But it's different if you have to be faced with a situation where you have to live side by side with that stranger. You can't just ignore this kind of rejection easily. Even worse, if the stranger is the father of someone you love. Yes, it's not hard to understand that the current Victor loves Emma so dearly and honestly.
