327 - He Is My Husband

Victor may look so much different now. His beard is so messy. The same with his hair, which is messy and also longer than before, with his head covered by a beanie hat.

He still likes to wear that simple white shirt which is visible under his shady and old winter coat. Despite his look, Emma is still able to recognize him.

But Victor isn’t responding to her, only holding his head with some painful expression written in his face.

“Victor?” he mumbles, as he begins to feel something strange.

“You are Victor, right? Of course, you are,” replies Emma with some silly smile and a bit of awkward face. “There’s no way I would mistake you for someone else. What are you doing here in Canada? What’s with this outfit? Don’t tell me you abandon your job and become homeless now.”

But Victor is still trying his best to hold the pain in his head. He wants that aspirin so bad. But somehow, a few fragments of his memory are coming back to him albeit not so clear.
