Victor’s face looks so blank for a moment. And then he begins to remember some sequences of events before he enters Emma’s pharmacy store, until he recalls everything that he has experienced since he met Pablo. But that’s all he can remember.
But at least, he knows that he is now in Canada, and that this is already early in 2025. But still, he feels so confused why they are in Canada. He wants to ask Emma, but then one female doctor enters the room and greets Victor with a soothing smile.
“Oh, thank goodness you're awake. How do you feel, Mr. Agramonte?”
“Agramonte?” mumbles Victor with a confused face.
“Oh, please! Just call him Eusebio,” Emma interrupts.
Victor immediately averts his attention to Emma. He becomes even more confused as to why Emma would identify him as Eusebio.
