336 - Stop Avoiding Me

Emma just pulls her blanket and covers her head. “Just leave already, like how you’d always been!”

And it’s not like Henry is expecting any answer from Emma. Because he only conveys that question while turning away from her.

“I’m going to take the car with me,” he says.

“Whatever!” replies Emma.

Henry puts back the coffee cup on the table, and then leaves without saying anything to Victor.

Unbeknownst to Henry, Victor has witnessed how much he really cares about his daughter. And as a man, Victor understands why Henry deliberately hides it from Emma.

Because of this too, he reconsiders his options to accept Emma’s choice to stay there for a bit longer. He thinks that maybe Henry is not that bad at all as a man, even if he can’t force Henry to accept him either.

And indeed, Henry deliberately stays outside longer than usual. Previously, he would be already at home on Friday late afternoon. But now, he stays in the official residence provided for him even on the weekend.
